My family visited Indian Creek every summer while I was growing up, but then switched to Edgar Evins. We decided to return this past weekend after about 10 years, and were severely disappointed! The entire park is dirty and nasty now that it's privately owned. To begin with, they don’t properly take care of the bathhouses. Besides being full of poisonous spiders and in disrepair, it's also filthy. I suffered through a shower with moldy curtains and a rusty shower head. I mustn’t forget the poison ivy growing inside and around the entire camping pad, or the goose droppings EVERYWHERE including the roads and even the sand beach. It’s unsafe and unsanitary for children, or anyone for that matter, to be in this campground! To keep costs down they refuse to turn the lights on at night! It’s pitch black and very dangerous while climbing the steps to the bathroom. One guest fell and hurt her ankle while trying to do so. They are more concerned with, “keeping costs down,” than the safety of the campers. They are charging an outrageous $27 a night while they don't even offer running water at the swimming area (another cost saving measure). They will try to swindle money out of you any way they can, and will lie right to your face to justify their ways. Save your time and money and visit a state owned park. Owning a campground is a large responsibility and these people don’t have the funds, customer service skills, or manpower to run it properly. We camped here in a Tent.

Beautiful park, quiet, boat ramp, swimming beach, volleyball, basketball, horseshoe pits and the best part is Live Music and karaoke on Saturday nights every week. I plan on making this campground my favorite one. I plan on camping here allot. The fishing is great too. You can't go wrong going here the people are so nice that own the park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
