This is a great overnight park. The rate includes $2 for WiFi a little slow but it works. If you are a big rig towing a vehicle, you will have to unhook to get around, otherwise the park lives up to its name. A clean quite spot to spend the night. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The name says it all. It is a good, basic place to overnight in a motorhome between Knoxville and Chattanooga and is only a half mile east of IH 75. This is an older campground, but all sites are pull throughs and have concrete pads. The bathhouse is basic but clean. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The roads are a little steep, but were no problem to negotiate with a 36' coach. The gravel sites were a little eroded and not level. It took a lot of blocks to even get close to level on our site. The WI-FI worked good as did the cable TV. Some sites are too wooded for satellite service but some of the upper sites are clear. This is not the fanciest park, and the sites are small and a little close to each other. With the Passport America rate it is worth every penny. There are many things to do in the surrounding area and we would stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We liked this park. Stayed here for 10 days and every day work was being done to improve the sites. Access roads are a bit hilly but sites are level. 50 Amp electric/full hookups - trees made rooftop satellite difficult but park provides cable. About half the sites are seasonal residents-friendly and welcoming. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
