- Fastest to Ben & Jerrys is by ferry. 12 miles across lake from Vt. Scenic drive otherwise.

- Debbie-N-Mel These are not main highway roads, but country two lane roads. Make sure to check the map ahead of time. There is a Walmart supercenter in Athens, but otherwise not a lot of shopping. There are fast food spots, several restaurants and even a Dutch Brothers. It would probably be a few miles to drive into town, but not very far. It is super quiet out there! No traffic noise, railroads, planes, etc. Very restful.2 months ago Texas Trails RV Park
