The Preserve is a 2000 acre facility along the Trinity River in Liberty Co., approx. 16 miles from Cleveland, TX. It has two pools, equestrian facilities, cabins, and an abundance of wildlife. This was an existing park and was recently purchased and being converted into a first-class RV resort. We were guests in the section being developed for big rigs where investors will purchase beautifully appointed lots with amenities for either their personal use or put into a rental pool. The campground is under construction but has wonderful paver stone pads in the big rig section and level concrete in other sections. The roads are not paved but are topped with crushed concrete, limiting dust. Maintenance throughout all sections of the 2000 acre grounds is impeccable. We look forward to returning for a longer resort-style experience as their progress continues. In the meantime, the management staff was very gracious and extremely professional. The only reason we rated this an 8 instead of a 10 was because it is still under construction. We camped here in a Motorhome.
