  00__01 The closest Towns and Cities are Elgin, TX (7 miles), Bastrop, TX and Austin, TX both 20 miles away. The roads are rural and in some cases not in good condition. The speed limit might be 45 on some of these roads but in the RV we had to go much slower. But going slow is good. We saw an Eagle swoop down into the tall grass only about six feet from the road -right next to us. Also, we had to stop for a small Armadillo crossing the road in front of us. It was very cute. Good thing we were going slow and could stop. Excellent Pizza at Aviator Pizza and Drafthouse in Elgin, Texas There is a large gas station mini-mart next door to Aviator Pizza if you need basic stuff like chips and soda. There are larger grocery stores within a couple of miles of Aviator Pizza.

  Marie_55 My Husband treat me at Southside Market & Barbeque and they have one of the best bbq I tasted, I thinkit's around 10-15 Minute drive from the palce you will also see a lot of Mexican restaurant nearby, Didnt try one sorry.
