First off, great owners/managers, just plain nice people. Some sites a little different; they are covered (under shelters). Most seem to live there full time and very friendly. The owners are more interested in your comfort. I just pulled along side a fence, and the owner helped me drop the towed. He said he would get the money later. Had to find his wife on day two. Would stay again. Only gave it an 8 because there are no amenities and no trash pickup. We camped here in a Motorhome.
These folks are the NICEST people I have ever met. The park is clean, maintained, everything was super nice. If they have a spot open, this is a great place with great people. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Excellent RV Park for anyone looking for short, mid, or long term parking. Owners live on site and are constantly improving the facilities. Residents are very friendly and it quickly becomes a family atmosphere. On site laundry, exercise room, clean bathrooms, and lake access. Also, it has fenced in pet exercise area, covered parking available, and paved roads. It's convenient to grocery and restaurants. All this within 15 minutes of Tyler where there is abundant shopping, museums, and activities. I stayed there for almost a year and half, and would return without hesitation. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This park is for long term tenants. We were allowed to stay 2 nights because there was an empty space. Sites are covered and utilities are good, even Wi-Fi. The owners are very nice. Over 55 gets a 10% discount. We would stay again if just passing through and if you are, I would call to verify a space. The owner told me he did not encourage overnighters. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a super clean small park with the nicest owners you'd ever want to meet. Each restroom has its own shower that is immaculate. There's a fenced dog area as well as some covered spaces. The property also extends down to Lake Palestine. The owner offers satellite service with all of his own equipment for only $25 per month--what a deal. I highly recommend this park. Great RV campground at Lake Palestine. Relatively new. Has good sized sites, newer electric, water and sewer hookups. Cable TV was coming, but not yet there. We stayed there for a 3 day weekend while visiting family. The site we had was a back-in at the front of the campground for short term stays. The sites were covered in smooth river gravel and easy to walk on. No fire rings and no picnic tables, just basic level sites with good utilities. There were a lot of seasonal campers, some full timers, and some construction workers settled in for monthly rentals. The campground was clean and quiet. They had a great grass covered and fenced dog park area, new laundry and shower rooms and were slowly improving and expanding. The owners live on site and are great to deal with. They only take checks or cash and give a 10% senior discount. Rates were $25.00 daily, $150.00 weekly and $275.00 + elec. monthly. They are across highway from Emerald Bay on Lake Palestine, close to services, fishing, sailing, golf, etc. We find it very convenient and will stay there again for sure. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Still under construction. Open for self contained units. Good paved roads and large gravel sites. Bathrooms, showers, laundry, office and recreation room still under construction. They will have tent camping, rental units, boat launch, fishing, water/electric only sites, dump station, and other attractions as they complete each phase of the campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
