What a find! We can't believe this campground is free and has such a low usage. There are multiple campgrounds located around the lake - camping is somewhat dispersed, thus there is not an absolute number of sites listed. For additional info, please refer to the website. Some have dump stations with fresh water and flush toilets. Most have covered picnic tables and grills. Most sites are lake-front. However, the shoreline is rugged and at the time we were here, the lake level was down excessively. There are boat ramps for boaters and fishermen. When we were here, there were only a handful of campers and sometimes we were the only campers in our campground. The park is patrolled by National Park rangers. The only negative we had was unpredictable winds. We will definitely camp here again after we reach the 14-day limit. We camped here in a Motorhome.
