We stayed here one weekend in mid-October because the park in Belton that we usually use to visit my nephew stationed at Ft. Hood was full. As noted by previous viewers, the new owner is converting this park from a mobile home park to a RV park. He has done a great job of renovating the sites into huge, long, and wide cement pads and patios. Most sites are back-ins, but there a about a dozen that are pull-through. There are some mobile homes remaining. Even with all the cement, there is 5-15' of grass between the sites. The asphalt park roads are in terrible shape. We had a level, FHU site that (as many are) was satellite friendly. There is no cable TV, but the 802.11 network was reliable. I am unable to be as generous in my rating as the previous reviewer (the 2 previous 10s are by the same person). There are NO bathrooms or showers, no recreational facilities, and no cable. I was able to get about a dozen local channels without even raising my antenna. The park was fairly full and most customers appeared to be people (including families) living and working in the area. It seems that the new owner has turned this former mobile home park with local residents into an RV park with local residents. Once again, I was NOT attacked while walking in the surrounding neighborhood even though other reviewers say this is a bad area. Personally, I think the previously praised by other reviewers security (gates, locks, etc.) is a bothersome, overdone annoyance. Then again, I am not your typical paranoid white RVer. As is typical of Texas RV parks, there is no recycling. As long as you don't need bathroom and showers, want recreational facilities, or mind being among real working class Americans, this park is fine. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This RV park just keeps getting better and better. The owner has taken a trailer park and made it into a first-class RV park. All sites are concrete pads - long and level. Utilities are well-located. There are quite a few semi-permanents as there are many roofers taking care of the roofs damaged by hail recently. However, every site is kept clean and free of clutter. One of the real pluses is that the owner put a gate at the back so you can access the two mile park run/walk. Another plus: the owner has done much to ensure the security of his guests. This is the place to stay if visiting Killeen. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is off the old Hwy 190 and in a much older section of Killeen. We had little trouble finding it as we used map quest directions. The GPS actually gave us the right instructions as well. We had reservations but called the owner when we were about 15 minutes out. He gave us the gate code (the entire park is gated) and met us just after we arrived. He has done a wonderful job of converting an old mobile home park into a first class RV park and the effort he has put in is very visible. He is also the consummate southern gentleman. There is still a little work to do, but all in all, the park is clean, easy to navigate, and quiet. There is a very nice park behind the park available for jogging or walking pets. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
