Stayed here because of great access to Garden Valley Golf Resort. While owner was friendly, we found the park to be very poorly maintained--campsites closed due to inoperable electric and, worst of all, the pool was not only NOT maintained, it was a serious health hazard. The pool was completely taken over by algae and visibility into the water was non-existent. This was unacceptable. Bathrooms, however, were clean. Although park advertised 50 amp electric, it was not available--only a few sites have 50 amp and none were available on our visit. Most of the sites have full time residents--many of whom have poorly maintained trailers. We would not choose to return to this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice campground I rated it a 9 because it doesnt have cable tv. The staff is very helpful and very nice. It is not one of these "resort" type campgrounds but it is very nice and it is only about 20 minutes from Tyler but it is perfect for us becuase it is just outside Van Texas and that is where my family all lives so it is close to them and still not too far from anything you might need. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
