Nice clean park, easy in, easy out. Staff friendly. Nice walking/biking path. Close to downtown Salt Lake City. It is close to the interstate so if traffic noise is going to bother you, you might want to stay elsewhere. We did not notice the noise because our windows were closed while we were here. A few long-timers, only saw one that could use a bit of cleanup. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Really nice park with paved roads and concrete sites. Very well kept. Lots of toilets/showers and a good thing. We tried 3 before finding a shower that worked. Well kept park, but maintenance required. We paid for the largest pull through. They called it 70 foot, but only 65 are usable and you will need at least 3 lengths of sewer hose if you want to dump. Whoever designed the services in this park needs to be shot. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here twice up and back from Yellowstone. I think this campground we will go back to and stay longer our next trip. The staff was helpful and friendly. The grounds were very clean. The trip north our sites cable TV did not work, it was a holiday and there were no maintenance people to fix (oh well). The trip South everything worked fine. Sites are large and you have lawn. There is a great jogging trail near there. We will return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park, relatively new, but you need to consider a few things (as should the owners). The park is located very near the interchange of I-15 and I-215. You can see the traffic on the elevated roadway and certainly hear the traffic. Why they located the sewer connection at the extreme end of the sites next to your neighbor's car parking spot is totally beyond me. Hopefully, you have a long hose and your neighbor doesn't accidentally run over it. The club house is nice with TV and pool table, but not accessible after hours. North Salt Lake City is close to town, but the immediate area is very industrial to include some kind of refinery. With our windows shut, road noises could not be heard. They have a tree planted between most, if not all, sites. In time these trees are going to create problems for those with slides. If this park was physically in another location, it would be so much nicer. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a multi million dollar luxury professionally laid out park (except see below). Sites and roads paved, with lush grass. The trees only shade the picnic table and are the proper type that do not spread out. In the large pull-throughs, the sewer is all the way to the rear. Either you need two hoses or you will have to back out into the street to dump. If your electric is in the rear you will need an extension cord to plug in. Or you can pull forward to plug in (center coach on pad) then you will need 3 sewer hoses to dump. Beautiful park but hook ups were not thought out. Our 45' rig was happy here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very pretty and modern RV park. Trailer slots are paved, staff friendly. Bathrooms are individual units with shower and toilet; six units in all, more than adequate and very clean. The no refund less than 24 hours notice is posted on the web; common business of many RV parks we have found, similar to hotels. One of the best rv parks we have stayed at. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Until today, this has been one of our favorite parks, one that we stayed at frequently whenever we wanted a quick weekend away from home. The park itself is very nice: level concrete pads, many with a car pad, pool, playground, dog area, clubhouse, and a connection to extensive paved bike and walking trails. However, the park has instituted a "No refunds, No credits" policy that came as an unexpected and painful surprise. We had booked a Thursday and Friday stay, and on Friday morning we had to change our plans to return home to take care of some family business. When I stopped into the office, they informed me of the park policy, pointing to a sign on the wall which stated the policy of "No refunds, No credits. No exceptions." Pity the person who books for a month, for a job or extended vacation, and then has something happen which requires them to leave halfway through: $350 gone. I suppose we are lucky that we only lost $40. If you plan on staying here, make sure there is no way that you will have to leave early: it will cost you! We certainly don't intend to return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice, clean, decent size sites. There was plenty of room in the premium pull through to stay hooked up. Paved, with grass between sites. Pool, laundry, showers, and bathrooms all nice and clean. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A really nice campground about 10 miles from Salt Lake City. Large sites with nice green grass and plenty of space from your neighbor. The good is that there is a paved bike path right next to the grounds that goes south to Salt Lake City and north about 10 miles. We road to downtown and toured around Salt Lake City and back in 2 hours. Really nice having this trail right outside our door. The bad is that there is a Chevron chemical plant or fuel processing plant basically across the street. When the wind blow from the East, this place stinks. We only really smelled it a few times and it would not be a deal killer for future stays here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground looks pretty: green grass and concrete pads. However, the space is very tight! Our truck has to park in the space beside the longer pad for the fifth wheel. The trailer next to us could not fully extend their slide or it would have hit our truck (which was parked on the concrete: not over).The restrooms are individual rooms with shower and toilet for either sex. When I went, the floor was really dirty. I could only use the Wi-Fi with Google Chrome, and it is slow. The cable has 22 stations. It is fine for a one night stop. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park in North Salt Lake City. Staff was very friendly/helpful. Sites have a little lawn, and a small patio with a round picnic table. Sites are VERY close together! Grounds were clean and there are small grass areas that your dog can do his business on. There is a lot of grass areas where dogs are not allowed. There is a trail at the end of the park that leads to a walk/bike way. Got a lot of exercise using it. You have to go into town if you need anything, office does not have much in their store. Cable TV is very limited so we were really glad we had our dish. My big complaint was the WiFi. It was TERRIBLE! It is almost 5pm right now and this is the first time today, I was able to get on and have it work correctly. Most of the time, you can't get on, or it runs slower than a tortoise! The instructions to getting on are very confusing, and usually does not connect. This park definitely needs to update it internet to meet the needs of the whole park! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Lush grass all around made for a wonderful stay with pets. The trees are young as the park is only 4 years old, so little shade. There is a small bit of freeway noise (which are the only two reasons I didn't give it a 5 star). Direct access to biking/jogging path and the playground is away from the sites near the front (a plus for us!) There are some long-term campers, but they keep them on the outer edge. People were very accommodating. We will always stay here from now on. Close to airport, too! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here a week and loved the park. Wide spaces, green grass between sites and the park was spotlessly clean. The park was very dog friendly. Our satellite dish had a clear shot at the sky and the cable TV system worked great. The rate we paid was the weekly rate, less than some KOA's we have recently stayed at that were not nearly as nice. This was one of the best parks we have stayed in and we have stayed in over 200 parks. We are returning to Salt Lake in a couple of months and will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our fourth stay. The first two were a good experience. The third stay we had to ask to move our site due to the noise and commotion in the site next to ours. The occupants of the next site were long term workers on the pipeline. This stay we again had to request a change of site due to the condition of our site and the one next to us occupied by another pipeline worker. Dog droppings all over the hook up side of our coach. Droppings on the lawn AND concrete pad. Large German Shepherd who menaced me while I unhooked to move. Later saw the same dog (off leash) viciously go after a kid running by. Reported the incident to staff. Courteous staff and helpful, but have seen a trend towards just taking money and less to maintaining park. Will not stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our 2nd stay at Pony Express. It is spotless park, with green lawns and all paved roads/sites. We were taken to our original spot by Calley, who happily accommodated our request to move to an end spot. We had a nice lawn area for our pups to play. Spot was long enough so we did not have to unhook for the one night. However, the dump is at the very back and we did have enough hose. If we had unhooked it would not have been an issue. Some of the sites are close together, but the ones closer to the front gate are fine. Would definitely stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 3 nights and visited Salt Lake City, the Great Salt Lake and the Kennecott Mine. This is a very nice and well laid out campground. It was super clean. All the hook-ups were in a convenient place. The roads are all paved and the sites are level concrete pads that will accommodate any size motorhome. There is well manicured grass between each site and all sites have a picnic table. We would most definitely stay here again if we are in the Salt Lake area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice clean park. Sites are concrete and interior roads are blacktop. The $37 rate was based on a 2 week stay. I would have rated the park a 10 except for a really screwed up Wi-Fi system and the narrow sites. I was in the section that has parking pads beside the RV space. My bedroom slide missed hitting my neighbor’s tow truck by 2 inches. We camped here in a motorhome and would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The shower rooms were some of the best we have used. They were large, private, with heaters. There were 3 buildings spread around the RV park so no one would have a long walk. The office staff was friendly and helpful. The RV Park has access to the paved Jordan River bike trail which will be about 40 miles long when completed. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very neat, clean and quiet resort. No gravel. Sites are concrete and roads are paved. Some sites have a concrete pad for parking tow/toad vehicle. Some traffic noise may be heard, but not and issue. Office personnel are very friendly and helpful. They helped me find the best price for a needed tire. Printed directions and explained the route. Pool was clean and fresh, but no shade in the pool area. Cable TV works very well. Received a clear crisp picture without any interference. WiFi, unsecured, but worked well. Nice to have grass and a very nice picnic table just outside your door. Sites may be closer together than some people like to see, but spacing was not an issue, and nothing interfered with slide outs. Stayed here in a fifth wheel, and would stay here again. Lovely, lovely park! WE HAVE GRASS! We had to take off our shoes and wiggle our toes in it! This park has beautiful lawns. The sites are really crammed together, with some sites having no parking for vehicle. They have a separate area to park your vehicle. Our site had a "car pad." Very tight fitting our dually in the spot, but it worked. There is a 10'x10' patch of grass with a picnic table at every site. New trees, so not much shade, but the trees also don't get in the way of rigs and slide outs. We happened to be at the end of a street, so our lawn is much larger. We are loving it! Decided to stay an extra week and take advantage of our "yard." There are full hook ups, swimming pool, shuffle board, and basketball. Great paved bicycle path right outside the park. This path goes on for 40 miles! It is dog friendly, with a walking path around the park and a couple of spots with dog waste bags supplied. The folks are quiet at this campground, but we do hear some traffic noise. But with the beautiful lawn, landscaping and privacy fencing, it's easy to block the noise out. They have great bathrooms/showers, not that we used them. They are each a private unisex room with toilet, sink, and shower, just like "home." There is a nice laundry room. Everything is immaculate. A very cool "family room" is at the office, with large leather sofas, a fire place, pool table, large TV and DVD player, and small library. Free Wi-Fi works great. I would return here in a heartbeat! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Although this park is only 4 years old, they really made the sites way too small. We could barely park our truck on the site between our slide and the neighbor's. This could be a very nice park; it is conveniently located to downtown Salt Lake City and other area attractions, but the site size would definitely prohibit us from going back here. This is a very clean and fairly new Park with good size sites. Each site has a concrete pad and nice grassed area. The staff are very friendly, and the park is well located for touring Salt Lake City. The area is fairly Industrial, with no shopping close by (there are stores within a short drive up the highway). It is close to the Highway for access, but is quiet. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We chose this site because of their rules, but the rules are not enforced. Guy next to us worked on his truck until 11.30 at night, left dog unattended in trailer barking, not kept on lead when outside. Other guests walked between vehicles with their dogs, and drove wrong way down roadways. The concrete pad is not wide enough for slides both sides, hook-up was wrong end of pad, car pads should be at front of trailer not back, not enough room for vehicle. Lots of noise from road. We would certainly not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

New park, so all sites are concrete, level with new utility set ups. All utilities worked well. Park is clean & neat. Small grass area with small round table between sites. Wouldn't call it a resort. There are no activities, small playground, pool (closed this time of year). Did have access to great walking/biking trail & close to all Salt Lake attractions. Close to major roads, so you do have road noise, especially if windows are open. We stayed a week & found that the daily Good Sam rate for 7 nights was cheaper than their weekly rate. Also, rates on website are wrong so call for rates. Wi-Fi worked fine late at night. They did keep track of your usage & slowed the speed if you exceeded their limits. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The GOOD -- beautiful mountain views, they are pet-friendly, and have long (but narrow) pull-through sites that are easy to park rig in due to angled driveways. The BAD -- park is located adjacent to busy highway that connects with freeways so you have constant loud traffic with 18 wheelers using exhaust brakes on the curve. Staying just one night, they gave us a site close to freeway noise among the long term highway construction workers instead of the vacation/leisure customers they advertise they want. We would have loved to sit out to enjoy the mountain views but it was too loud to sit outside with highway noise and booming music coming from nearby 5th wheel in row behind us. We won't return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Pretty nice place. The sites are a bit small but the layout makes it work. They have a key-coded gate entry that helps give peace of mind since it is located in an industrial area. It is generally quiet except for the occasional airplane from a neighboring airport. Hands down the best RV camp in SLC. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Based on previous reviews we cancelled our reservations at another park so we could stay at this one. We are so sorry we did. The very young ladies who checked us in were polite. The site was long enough but not as wide as we expected. We were not able to sleep any night we were there. The SLC airport is very close. The interstate had endless truck traffic. On Saturday night there were trucks racing up and down the little streets in the park for hours. There was no one to call for help. At 6:30 AM on Sunday dirt bikes started racing on an adjacent motocross course. There were active rock quarries nearby and a number of oil refineries were in full production. The petroleum smell was horrible. The noise was completely unacceptable. The Wi-Fi was not good at all. We will not stay here again at any time in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park and the staff bent over backwards to be helpful. We were there with a rally, and the rally price was $30. I have listed the true price of the site. The sites were flat, concrete pads. The road was asphalt. We had FHU 50 amp. The park was pet friendly with trash cans and bags placed around the park. The park is right on a bike path and only a few miles from downtown. This park is easy in and out off the interstate. We will definitely stay here again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Overall for our needs, this is a great park. The location is very close to family we have in the area, and the access to the freeway is very nice. I would have expected lots of noise from trucks, but nothing kept us awake. Park staff are great to work with. The pull-through sites are nice, yet seem to be hit-n-miss when it comes to getting a level one. We've stayed here a few times now, and sometimes we get a level site, sometimes it's slightly off. The Wi-Fi worked great for us, but we ended up with a site right next to an access point which I'm sure really helped. We'll certainly stay in this park again when visiting family. Rate is with good Sam discount. Very nice looking campground. My rating is based on the following - While most sites are pull through, they are difficult to get into since the road in front and back of them is narrow. Right off Hwy so you get the noise from the trucks. Wi-Fi was slow, but included in the price. Sites were concrete pads, but not level. The park is new, well kept and easy to get in and out of. However, it is next to a busy freeway and you hear trucks all day and night. Also commercial airplanes going over head, and within a few miles from a refinery, air quality not good. Would not stay here again due to the location. Too bad the owners did not pick a better location. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a lovely, fairly new park with a security gate. We have a small class C so we were given one of the back-in sites. These sites are all sloping downhill and require you to level your RV to be comfortable. Most small units don't come with hydraulic jacks, so using these off-level sites for small motor homes is not a great idea. Fifth wheels and travel trailers are better equipped to deal with such off-level sites. The laundry room was clean and the machines worked well. I had some difficulty with the Wi-Fi, but after several tries, I finally connected. The cable TV had the fewest amount of channels I have ever seen. Though I didn't try, I believe I could have gotten more channels over the air. We used our Good Sam discount. We would stay there again for an overnight if they offered us a level site. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park and close to downtown Salt Lake, but you are not in the city. Sites are large and the pool is great. They are very kid friendly as they let you bring your own pool toys in. It is very quiet and clean. They have a pool table and other games to play. They have an area for dogs, too. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Gated resort is very clean, well-kept, handy to the interstate and visits to SLC. A little highway noise at night, but you only heard it outside or with the windows open. Sites are very close together, but I guess that's to be expected in an urban area. The Exec level sites were a little roomier for a slightly higher rate. Rate given reflects Good Sam discount. As others have said, Wi-Fi was not useful (would have upped rating to 8 if it were). No fire rings: a must for us! We did appreciate management being okay with our portable firepit on our site and promptly responding to our concern about an annoying yippy dog in the camper next to us. We will probably stay here again if we're in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Arrived without reservations early in the day and had no problem getting a spot. Great park. Full hook-ups. 50 amp did not lose voltage when all RV's were running air conditioning. Clean facilities. Nice folks running office. Had no problems putting out slides. Pool was small but very clean and nice. Convenient to just about everything. There is a Flying-J station just up the street. The sites are somewhat close together but it wasn't a problem. Price quoted ($38) included all taxes less Good Sam discount. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice gated park. They messed up our reservation and had us down for the next night. We had reserved a Deluxe Plus pull through but did not get it because of the reservation mess up. They did adjust the rate for us though. Had a hard time parking so that we could get our main slide out because of the utility box being located in an awkward place and our neighbors had the same problem. Nice grassy sites with picnic table and very pet friendly except for breed restrictions. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The rate was a weekly Good Sam rate less the $5 Good Sam coupon for an Executive site which was about 15 feet wider than the other sites. Others complained the sites were too close but we did not have that problem. Park was clean, good power, and a nice laundry. There did appear to be many RVs here for people working in the area, but this did not cause any problem for us. We would stay here again if in the SLC area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park kept telling us the reason we did not have AC for 2 entire afternoons while the temperatures were near 100, was our motor home. It turned out to be the fault of the site. We were not getting 50 amps. Guy next to us told us it happened to same spot the summer before. Many pipeline workers live here, thus tons of children. Avoid site B42. We camped here in a Motorhome.

My wife and I have been RVing since 1971 and this is by far the best RV park that we have ever stayed in. Everything is clean. I noticed that when an RV pulls out in the morning one of the worker power washes the cement RV pad. We stayed two nights and did not smell any gas fumes from the near by processing plant. There is a great trail access from the campground for walking, running or bike riding. I guess it goes for miles. I saw some of the biggest rigs ever and they had plenty of room. The smaller RV sites for trailers also have a cement pad for parking your pull vehicle, even though you will have to park it pretty close to your trailer. I highly recommend that you stay here when visiting SLC. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Paved sites, and paved streets. Very clean with grass between each site. No enclosed dog run but a good area to walk them. This would be a perfect 10/10/10 if only the Internet would work. Oh well, what's new. A good number of RV Parks have trouble with their Internet. I would stay here again, no problem. Staff is great and friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stay here each time we are in the Salt Lake City area. The sites are paved, level, and adequately spaced. The restrooms and showers are the best we have seen. The only reason not to give this a 10 rating is the Wi-Fi. It was spotty at best. We love the fact it is easy access to downtown SLC and any areas to the west and south. We will always stay here when in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is one of the nicest RV resorts we have stayed in ever. The staff was above and beyond friendly and will spot you at your site. They had us park our truck in the site next to ours, which was convenient. They asked if we would be unhooking when we checked in so that they could put us in an appropriate spot. The playground looked great although my kids didn't use it. They did use the basketball court. The showers were the best set up I've ever seen. The interstate and refinery didn't bother us at all although while driving into the resort we could smell the refinery but it never bothered us once here. I'm giving it a 9 instead of a 10 because my daughter complained there were a lot of mosquitoes but it's not their fault. Also if I ruled the world (which I don't), I'd have recycle containers and a work out room (which I realize is totally not standard). The Wi-Fi worked great and they had cable TV. We absolutely would stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We travel to SLC once each year to visit family, and because of the scarcity of RV parks in the SLC area, we usually alternate between Pony Express and KOA. We have a love/hate relationship with Pony Express: we love the mountain views but hate the smog and smell from the refineries. We love the convenience of having restrooms and dumpsters at convenient locations throughout the park, but we hate that RVs are packed in like sardines when the park is full. Now that there are so many full time residents, the park stays pretty full. There is a severe lack of guest parking spaces, and most of the "residents" have more than one vehicle. So, they just park in the road in front of their site, blocking traffic flow. If we wanted to pull out right now, we'd have to go next door and ask that they move their car so we could get out. It's a good thing we don't have slides, because we don't have room to extend them without hitting the neighbor's tow vehicle. And we are in a "deluxe" pull through! There is one very nice meeting lounge, but it is mostly unavailable because it is being used by rallys and groups. The noise from the freeways is bad enough, but with all the big diesel trucks within the park, it can really get loud. Also, at the risk of sounding like the "age police," we've noticed some RVs that obviously don't meet the park's 10 year age limit. On the plus side, the park is well maintained and the staff is accommodating. And there's that great paved and striped hiking and biking trail along the Jordan River adjacent to the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park was very clean and well kept. The staff was very nice and helpful. It is well situated for to Temple Square as well as Hill Airforce Base Museum and Antelope Island. It was an hour away from Park City. UT. We did not use the pool, but the WiFi worked great and the TV channel selection was great. We camped here in a Motorhome.

As mentioned before this is a fairly new RV Park that is convenient to all of the tourist areas in Salt Lake City. Access from the interstate is easy and although the highway is close by, road noise is not a problem. occasionally when the wind is calm you can smell the nearby refinery but again this is not a significant problem. Security is very good and the front desk personnel are very professional. There is a 16 mile long bicycle/walking trail that runs just outside the park boundary. We even saw a large beaver right next to the trail about 100 yards from the gate. This is the second time we have stayed at this park and this time there seemed to be a significant number of seasonal residents. Everyone was friendly but some of the rigs are accumulating clutter that tends to detract from the "resort" type feel. Overall this seems to be the best option in the SLC area and we plan to continue to make this our base when visiting on future trips. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park. Fairly new, so the trees don't provide any shade yet. Nice level concrete pads. Grass at each site. New picnic tables at each site. Very friendly and helpful office staff. Separate pad for the tow. The only issue is it looks like they will have a lot of mosquitoes in the summer. There were swarms of bugs (which I believe to be mosquitoes) throughout the park. I wouldn't want to be here in the summer, if that's what they are. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The choice for nice and newer RV parks in the Salt Lake City area is poor at best. Many are old . crowded, behind the times for the newer and Larger rigs. This is not the case with Pony Express. level large concrete pads, very nice rest room showers. Inner roads are wide and paved. Security gates and a friendly staff. The only draw backs : it is a bit of a chore getting there if you are traveling from the North on I-15 or I-215. Also there are a lot of very long term residents and some tend to leave their spots a bit messy. We definitely will stay here when in the SLC area. Even when taking family to the Lagoon fun park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. We got a lot of helpful tips about getting around town and places to shop. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The entire park was very clean as were the bathrooms. In fact, it was the cleanest park we have stayed in so far. It is a gated RV community. We would stay here again if we come to Salt Lake City. A very nice park located on the North side of Salt Lake City. Not much is nearby so one must drive several miles to get to restaurants and shopping. Easy to get to from I215. The park is gated so be sure to make arrangements if you are arriving late and get the gate code. When we were there, 75% of the park was fifth wheels whose occupants seemed to be fairly young workers who would leave for the day. But everything was neat and tidy with no junk to be found anywhere. The park is very pet friendly as there is a walking path just outside the fence. (Look out for bike riders on weekends and in the evening). The club house is first class, however, it is closed to the residents use for such things as using the pool table when the manager leaves for the day (6PM when we were there). Overall, however, a fine park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Excellent park. Would be a ten except the sewer connections are placed very far to the rear of the sites. No way to pull in with a motorhome and use the sewer. You have to pull in, unhook, then back up to the very edge of the site to connect. All the rigs in the park staying for any length of time have 3 or 4 hoses connected together. Too bad, this is close to a perfect overnight park otherwise. It is close to the interstate, so there is some road noise, which may be an issue in a softsided rig, but not a problem in my coach. It's a new park so don't expect shade, lots of new 10 ft high saplings everywhere. It is going to get better. You get an entire page of dog rules, none problematic, but just the fact they feel they have to give one to every guest shows how few of our fellow RVers take the time to leash and attend to their pets. BTW: even with the rulesheet staring everyone in the face, and dog-pot stations everywhere, there are dog piles in the petwalks. Sad. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park just 12 minutes from Temple Square. The managers are very nice and also drive you to your site. The sites are concrete and will hold the longest rigs. They are very level side to side with a slight slope toward the rear but AI had no problem at all in getting level with my big rig. There is extra parking for the toad. There is a table at the site and green grass. You are near I-215 but the noise is not objectionable. I guess it depends on your tolerance but it doesn't bother us. The refineries are not real close and we never had a problem with any odor. This is a much nicer park than the KOA and we felt a lot safer. The electricity was just fine and they have good water pressure. I found the Wi-Fi to be fairly weak but at least it is free. We will definitely return. This is the best RV park in the greater Salt Lake City area that we have found. We camped here in a Motorhome.

All the good things mentioned in other reviews are true. There is an occasional odor from the refinery, but not so bad to keep us from staying here again. And, we could not hear the noise from the interstate. We liked the location and thought it was within reasonable driving distance to many attractions. The two biggest negatives for us was very inconsistent WiFi and the laundry closes at 8pm. The laundry room is set up in a wierd way so that it is necessary to go from corner to corner for different washers and dryers, and it is really chaos when there are several people trying to use the limited number of machines. It is not big enough, nor set up right for such a large park. It should be open much later. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The facilities and sites are some of the best we have seen while full timing: all paved, 50 amp, premium site. Wonderful security as well. However, we are unable to give the park the highest rating because of the bad location. It is near an oil refinery and the smell is unbearable. Also, close to the freeway, so noisy, industrial surroundings, sites too close together, and not easy on to I-15 southbound. It is sad that so much effort and money went into this bad location. Otherwise, it would be a 10. We would recommend only for an overnight stay and will probably not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

OK for an overnight, but I wouldn't want to stay for very long. Sites are paved and level with good grass between them. The owners are trying to start some trees, but they're quite small and the overall feeling is that you're in a parking lot. Nice areas to walk pets. Occasional jet noise from the nearby SLC airport and constant traffic noise if you're unlucky enough to draw a site on that side of the park (we were on the river side and it was quiet here). This is one of the nicest RV resorts we have ever been to. Everything is immaculate from the sites, to the pool, to the playground to the bathrooms and showers. After checking in, you go through the gates and someone shows you to your site. We had a paved 40' site with a paved parking spot next to the RV. Our 40 footer fit just fine. The site is sloped a bit from front to back for drainage. There is grass between sites. The hookups were in a good location. There are no restrictions on washing your car or rig. There are three locations for bathrooms and showers. There is an individual toilet, sink and shower with a locking door. The pool is heated, and it actually feels warm. We enjoyed the pool because it was not a shock to get into cold water like other heated pools. There are free DVD's and VHS movies that you can take back to your RV. There are two beautiful pool tables, a foosball table, board games, puzzles and books in the clubhouse. There are leather sofas, a fireplace and television in the clubhouse as well. I am a very light sleeper and did not hear any interstate noise at all. It was very quiet. There is a refinery nearby and of the four nights we were here, I only smelled a mildly bad smell one night when I was outside walking the dog. The picnic table is very nice. The streets are very easy to navigate in a big rig. I would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is my fourth time staying at this park over the past couple of years, and my opinion of it hasn't changed in that time. The park itself is very nice. The office personnel have always been more than friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are about the nicest I've seen in six years of full-timing and they're always spotless. The problem is that darn interstate. This is an industrial part of town and there's a lot of heavy truck traffic. If you're lucky and the wind is from the south, the noise is blown the other way and it's barely noticeable. But if the wind is from the north, which it is much of the time, you can't sit outside and hear yourself think, especially if you're on that side of the Park. So until such time as the managers are able to figure out how to control the wind, you pays your money and you takes your chances. On the positive side, the WiFi worked much better this time than in the past. They've installed additional repeaters throughout the park and the difference is noticeable. The signal was strong and stable for me. Overall, this park is fine for a few days, but because of the interstate noise I couldn't stand it longer than that. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

At first glance looks it looks nice. Sites are long concrete but sloped with poorly placed hookups. You will either need a long sewer hose or a very long electrical cord. We had a Deluxe site so we had a place to park our truck. Others are a little narrow. Verizon signal was good most of the time but did slow down at time. Park Wi-Fi was strong and fast. Not much choice in this area but will make other plans next time. The smell of the Refinery across the highway was awful at night so we will not be back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Check in was friendly. Office staff was not knowledgable of the area, and not interested in helping in this mission. Location is right next to a VERY busy interstate intersection with 24 hour heavy traffic. The campground has some spacious pads up front, however most sites are extremely close. Good water pressure, good cable TV, uneven pads front to back as well as side to side, EMS would not allow coach electricity do to "ground fault" so watch out for this. Overall, we would not use this facility again, or recommend it. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is seriously right on the busy expressway and right by the airport. It was so loud! We also heard the motorbikes nearby and smelled the refinery every day. We actually left a day early because we couldn't stand it. No fires are allowed and you are on a parking lot. Very little grass around. Pool and laundry area is nice. Rate is the prorated of monthly rate for a large site. Nice gated park with concrete pads. Sizes vary and the nightly fee is based on pad size. All are pull-thru sites. In the longer sites, sewer connection is at the back of the site, while the E/W/Cable power pole is midway on the site which could be troublesome for some. Loaner sewer hoses may be available. Each site has a small grass area, picnic table and a baby tree. All sites are roof-top internet satellite dish friendly. Water pressure is good, but water is very hard. Electricity is stable. Hosts are very friendly and customer oriented and will escort you to your site. Easy on-off I-215 for those who only need an overnight stop. We are full-timer RVers and lived here for three months. We are going to return for we like the Wasatch Front and the Salt Lake City area with all the different things to do. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The check in staff are also the managers. They are friendly and helpful. "Follow-me" cart to your site. We were in a concrete pull through site which was level but graded so that the water drained off. This was important because they allow you to wash you coach here, which is a big plus. Concrete pad for your car too. WiFi and cable TV were excellent. Verizon air card worked well. Outdoor temperature was in the high 90s so AC running full force. Had some episodes of only 114 volts which is too low. If needing directions to anything in the area the managers are well preparred. Even have a pre-printed list of local restaurants, stores, banks, etc, for you. Would come here again if in this area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park with a fabulous view of the mountains. The roads are all paved and the sites are concrete, and level. The roads are easily navigable. The WiFi is excellent, and there is good cell service and satellite access. The hookups are very accessible and convenient. It's a bit pricey, but it's nice to be able to just pull in, hook up and veg out. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a good overnighter campground. I will mentioned this: while we stayed here the problem was trains, planes, and automobiles. There is a lot of cement here. Nice grass area between sites with trees starting to grow. W/S/E at each site. Easy to get around in the campground. Facilities are nice and the staff is just as nice. Noise from the freeways is a little loud. A couple of planes fly over. Since this area is industrial, train noise was heard. Close to Salt Lake City and all of the attractions. Even an off-road park to the south. Pool was great (a little small) for the kids and a playground to get the energy out of the kids. This place does have water around it, but nothing you can go in. One odd observation, nobody seemed to walk in this campground. I suppose it was the weather had something to do with it, hot and windy, but strange to me nobody was really out of their rigs. I would stay here again. It served its purpose and when the trees get bigger, this place will only get better. Do not rule this place out as a place to stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is nice overall, but there is absolutely NO shade and it was way too hot and windy to put up our awning. Our air-conditioning was on all day and it still didn't cool down the trailer that much due to the heat outside. Other campers were not overly friendly and when we tried to make conversation they were very nonresponsive. They have a pool, but it had a lot of floating creatures and plant pieces in it. There is also NO shade by the pool so it's difficult to stay out of the heat. It is close to Temple Square and other tourist attractions in Salt Lake (and there is a Starbucks about 10 minutes away). Overall the stay was good, but the lack of shade deterred from the overall experience. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a delightful place with wide paved streets, plenty of parking, plenty of turning radius. The staff is warm and personable. The biggest challenge is you must disconnect any tow vehicles in order to connect to the sewer which was placed at the far rear of the site. Everything works well. A water pressure regulator is needed because of the high water pressure to the campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was an immaculate park. Our site was great with a concrete pad to park your tow vehicle. We were not bothered by any noise or odors as was a previous reviewer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only negative comment would be that the nearby refinery spoiled the beautiful mountain views. We would definitely recommend this park and stay here again. We had a pull-through deluxe, which was long enough for us not to have to disconnect our 5th-wheel, as we were only staying over-night. Good Sam rate. Concrete pads with a small grass section, we needed to level the RV as the site is arched. Great restrooms/showers , as they are individual locking, clean and new. Freeway noise is the biggest drawback, but other than that park is great. Cable TV and Wifi worked good. Not many choices in the SLC area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is relatively new well-maintained with many amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good setup for walking dogs. Best park in Salt Lake City area. But a few negatives kept it from getting a higher rating. Sites, including the pricier ones, are tight, though no problems getting 3 slides out and still having room. Laundry machines are relatively few for a park this size. There is an "off road vehicle" park next door, and the roaring engines even came through double pane windows- sounded like being on maneuvers with the Armored Division. When the wind blows "the wrong way" the odor from the refinery located on the other side brings odors which almost made me nauseous working on the rig and made me give up and go inside. If I had to stay in Salt Lake City, I'd stay here, but I would definitely look to find a way to avoid it. Too bad, as the park has a number of good things going for it. Previous reviewer is wrong- "all" sites are not level nor have a parking pad for toads- those are the deluxe or better sites. Standard is cheaper, not level (some jacked MHs had wheels in the air), and no parking pad. Some RVs were too long for the cheaper sites, so parked their cars & trucks in other sites. While the sites are a bit narrow, and the Interstate noise can be intense,this is still the best park in SLC. Gated entrance, very nice laundry and lounge. Large private bathrooms. Basic cable is clear; Verizon air card and cell are fine. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Only negatives are that if you are towing a dingy and want to stay hooked up in a pull through, you need a looong sewer hose (the sewer is at the end of the pull through, some 30' back from the rig's outlet) and that it's right by a freeway. This is a very new gated park and well maintained. We were on a concrete pad which had a picnic table and grass around it. We found the sites extremely close and when we had out living room slide out, the neighbors had to park their truck at an angle so they could open both doors. They had a very nice TV and reading lounge with a very clean laundromat. It is close to a great walking or biking trail and is a good place to be to visit Salt Lake City. We knew that there was an off-road vehicle park next door but never heard it. Nor were we bothered by highway noises nor any smells coming from a refinery. We would camp here again. They base their prices upon the length of the pad you need for your RV and our RV is 35'. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Lots of pluses to this place. They have obviously put a lot of money into making this a top-notch facility. For those of us with young kids, the family washrooms are terrific, giving lots of room and privacy while we bathe our kids. The pool is ultra-warm. The staff are professional. The campground has lots of greenery. The downside is overall location, in an industrial part of SLC. The owners have tried to insulate their guests from their surroundings, putting up a high fence that allows us only a view of the mountains behind SLC. Also, proximity to the Jordan River and the Great Sslt Lake means quite a few mosquitoes. But overall, a great campsite. We will definitely return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Our site was over closer to the office, farther from the highway. It was not quiet, particularly outside in the busy daytime traffic, but was no problem for sleeping, even with one light sleeper. Sites were pretty level, paved, and well maintained. Because it's so new, trees are small, and it still has a bit of the parking lot feel to it. All grounds, including grass spaces are well maintained. In fact, grounds maintenance was almost over the top. There was never a day that someone wasn't cutting grass, or trimming, or leaf blowing, or doing something loud and motorized! Still, kudos for their efforts to keep this place looking top notch, which it really does. Washrooms and showers were also excellent. Front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Park is in a great location to access local attractions, shopping, etc. I would send anyone here with complete confidence. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park would be very crowded if full as we shared an empty site to park our truck. WI-FI would also need to be expanded as it became very slow during peak user periods to the point it was a waste of time. We found the location easy to find and very easy to get to anywhere in the Salt Lake area quickly. We would certainly stay again if in the area. They provided a Good Sam discount. We were in site C16. This is a deluxe plus site. Site has concrete pad with area to park your car. Full hook ups and wi-fi and cable included with a picnic table on site. We were greeted warmly and given info about the area. Guided to site and offers to help us set up. Site was tight with rigs close by on each side. There was not enough room to put out awning because a young tree was growing in the space needed to do so. We were allowed to have rig washed in our site. Sites have no shade right now but each site does have a tree planted so in a few years there will be shade. Entire park is paved with a little grass between each site. Park has cabins, playground, horseshoes, dog walk, basketball court, heated pool, 14 mile nature trail behind park, very nice clubhouse with full kitchen, 2 pool tables, Foosball, clean laundry area ($1.50 wash/$1 dry). Office has business center with 2 computers and printer as well as a small convenience store. Managers were always friendly and helpful with information about Salt Lake City. Water hookup needs pressure regulator because of high pressure. Sites were very level. There is a locked security gate to get in and out. 3 large bathhouses each has 6 complete bathrooms in them. Cell service for Verizon and ATT worked here. Wi-Fi was limited- always had better service in mornings than in evening. Road noise is there but after a few days I did not hear it. We live near an airport so that noise never bothered us. I heard only 1 train come through even though there are trains across the street, and we stayed here for 2 weeks. Lots of shopping nearby; gas, Flying J for propane, restaurants, grocery. Great views of the Wasatch mountains out front window. Rates are based on the length and kind of parking you need. Those who want more space pay higher rates. I can't comment on smells because we never smelled anything bad in the 2 weeks we stayed. Park felt safe even though it is near an industrial area. Salt Lake, Pony Express RV Resort. Pulled into the Pony Express RV Resort about 3 in the afternoon. It was easy to find and very easy to check into. We were shown to our spot by a gentleman in a golf cart. Super neat and nice! There is a security gate into the parking spaces, which are all concrete withmany pull-through spaces with an extra pad for tow vehicles. Showers and restrooms are plentiful, super clean. There are about 5 cabins in a space off to the side. Not sure if the cabins are for rent or what, but the park is definitely worth the stay. Nice fenced playground for the kiddies, walking area for people and pets, nice grassy area for dog walking and a trail beside the Jordan River. Management is extremely helpful and very gracious. Really a nice park for big rigs. Price we paid was for a premium extra large pull-through, with a Good Sam discount about $42 a night. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Located in North Salt Lake City, Utah and was easy to find: right off of I-215. Check in was simple. Staff was friendly and escorted us to our site. Had full hook-ups; WiFi could be better, but was included in camping fees; good cable TV. Sites are all cemented and quite spacious. No shade, the park is too new. The washrooms, laundry were spotless. Was a little noisy from the freeway nearby, especially during the daytime. There is a security gate. It's minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. Best bet coming from the S or the W - use I-215 N to get to the park. This is a newer RV park and the owners have obviously put a great deal of thought and money into it. Sites are paved with grass in between. We stayed in a premium site which gave extra room between units. We found the managers to be very friendly and helpful. The pool was still closed but the kids enjoyed the playground. The park is close to the freeway which is allows for easy access to the interstate. However, this also means that there is considerable road noise. There is also an airport nearby. Although our kids had fun watching the planes come in, there was some noise from the airplanes. However, despite the noise, the park is very clean and secure and we would definitely return as either a stop over or as a base when exploring Salt Lake City. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We really liked this campground and the thought the staff to be excellent!! Our pad was concrete and had a concrete parking pad attached. The utilities were well situated for our 34' motorhome. The cable was good, and when no snow and clouds, our satellite worked well. The openness and beautiful skies with a great view of the Wasatch mountains are a definite plus!! Whoever commented recently that this park has a lot of noise, no reception, that it is situated by industrial parks, etc., must not have liked it for some reason but what that reason is we will never know. Yes it is between two freeways; however while eating outside we did not notice any traffic noise; nor did we note anything wrong with the industrial park nearby. We found the park to have undergone some recent upgrades and we were well pleased with the maintenance of the grounds; the Wi-Fi, cell phone reception; laundry; showers, and restrooms. The staff was extra helpful in helping us with visitor information and places to eat. We had great neighbors and the mountains surrounding us were covered with snow. It was a very serene place. We stayed here with our dog and were quite happy with the dog walk. We stayed would definitely recommend it to anyone. Our sites were very wide and spacious; getting in and out was very easy; and we were truly impressed as we had just left Grizzly RV Park in West Yellowstone and felt it was the best yet. This RV park deserves a 10. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I concur with most of the other comments. Positives are: friendly staff, clean grounds and easy access. Negatives: the freeway noise, but with the a/c on through the late evening, that wasn't so bad. Same with the Chevron refinery odor, just run the a/c. The spaces can be tight; it looks as if too many sites were installed. This RV Park is about a year and a half old and is very well maintained. It has been a pleasure to stay here, using it as a base camp while exploring the Salt Lake area. The park managers are very accommodating and the showers, laundry, and rest rooms are clean. There is a pool, horseshoe pit, basketball net, and a large playscape for the children. The resort was designed to include all the amenities: swimming pool, horseshoe pits, playground, clubhouse, showers, etc. But if you don't use those (as we don't), it's a paved parking lot with no shade and very tight sites. Our paved site wasn't even level. You must park your tow vehicle less than a foot from the door to your rig, so putting the awning out is impossible. It is located between two freeways and an enormous refinery: so it's very noisy and smelly. But it's the nearest RV park to Salt Lake City, except for a KOA. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is a model for how RV parks should be managed. I've stayed here twice and everything is absolutely immaculate ... spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and well-managed. The folks in the office are as nice as they can be. However, it's located right next to an Interstate and the traffic noise is constant and horrendous. Also, I couldn't always get Wi-fi reception inside my trailer, but if I sat outside at the picnic table it was at least usable (there are also two computers in the office for use). The Wi-fi is a relatively minor quibble. Overall, I'd definitely return for short stays, but because of the noise I can't rate it higher than 7, and I'd go crazy if I tried to stay longer. This is a fairly new park and a great place to stay when visiting the SLC area. The sites are all concrete and have grass between each site. My only complaint is the dog area is not a fenced in area. This new, gated campground is close to I-215 several miles north of Salt Lake City. Considering its' closeness to the highway, road noise was not a problem during my visit. The husband and wife team in the office were very pleasant and most helpful. WiFi reception was poorer than I expected at a park of this caliber. The only other drawbacks were the lack of shade and a slight odor that seemed to spread over the park in the evenings, possibly from several nearby oil refineries. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We liked this resort so much we added a couple more days. This resort is extremely well run and managed. It is spotlessly clean everywhere. The sites paved and level and are power washed. There is nice grass and a picnic table for each site. It is a new park so the trees are not mature, so there is no shade. The park is gated. Beautiful pool and access to a city owned biking and walking trail right from the park. Lots of beautifully maintained landscaping and lawn. Quite nice RV park that was convenient to Salt Lake City. The negative points would be freeway noise, ugly oil refineries (but it is located in an industrial area), and it's impossible for 5th wheels to avoid running over sprinkler heads in the pull through sites. This park is managed well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s fairly new so the trees are not large; but they have some. WI-FI worked great, cable has plenty of channels. Every site has a cement pad and a small patch of grass and a small table. The roads are all paved. This place was about as spotless as you can get. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. The park is close to the industrial part of North Salt Lake, near the refineries. There wasn’t really any noticeable smell though. You are also close to the 215 freeway, so there will be some traffic noise. There were mosquitoes in the evening. We used one of their premium sites. All sites have concrete pads. They can accommodate big rigs as we have a 42'. The clubhouse is very nice with leather chairs, tables, TV, 2 pool tables and kitchen area. It is close to everything as I-215 is right there but you do not hear the traffic. It took 20 min to get to Temple square. When I needed to stay a few days extra they made me move but the old site was never occupied. Sites are as tight as possible. Don't park your care before your RV or you will have a tough time pulling in. In some sites the highway noise is intolerable. Stay away from the high numbers. It appears to be on fill land and is surrounded by a polluted river and swamps so the bugs are terrible. Worst of all it is in an industrial area surrounded by refineries and chemical plants. We had seen some of the comments on this review site about a smell at Pony Express RV Resort so we were reluctant to stop there but I am very glad we did. There was no smell that we could detect. The office says the smell is the Great Salt Lake not the refineries. And when the Lake smells all of Salt Lake notices. This park has a gated entry, young trees and bushes but it is beautifully laid out and when the landscaping matures, it will be shady. The noise from the freeway was tolerable; the individual restrooms with shower and toilet all in your own private room were spotless. There are 10 little cabins on the far West end for those who do not have rigs. The office said they were booking fast for many family reunions this summer. It is easy to see how they could accommodate families, as there are many picnic tables that could be put together for potlucks in the cabin area. We would definitely stay there again as it had all the amenities we enjoy. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice, new park but it has deficiencies. Sewer hookup was poorly located near back edge of site so a very long hose was needed. Wi-Fi was very difficult to connect to. The park is located near freeway exit so there is some traffic noise. Several refineries are nearby so air pollution is a problem. This is an OK overnight stop but not recommended for an extended stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Signage to campground is limited. There is a good area to park and register. Office staff were friendly and efficient. This is a full RV resort with paved roads and concrete pads. There is minimal landscaping. This is the first campground we have been in which price their sites on size. There is some road noise from I215 and airport but a good location for central Salt Lake. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park and is secure. The down side is that it is next to a refinery. The pollution and smell is terrible. We would stay here again for a night or two en route, but that would be enough. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is brand new in North Salt Lake. By far, the nicest one around the area. The office staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have any problems getting our satellite service to work because there aren't any full grown trees. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This will be a much needed great RV Park in the Salt lake City, UT area, when they get the electrical power problem fixed (50% of the sites are without power). The wifi is very erratic. The signal/connectivity is lost frequently while one is on the Internet. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a well-maintained park. The entrance is gated and sites are large concrete pads with room to park the car beside the motorhome. Each site had a small patch of grass with nice picnic tables. The sewer was located at the back end of the site which required a longer sewer hose. We had no problem getting out with our satellite. They just recently became a Camp Club USA discount park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great park in an urban setting. The park is new with concrete pads for the RV and tow/towed vehicle and grass between sites. Spacing between sites is good as is access. Maintenance is excellent throughout. People are friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi works well. The only negatives to this park are the occasional sewage smell from a nearby water treatment plant and traffic noise from the interstate. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Generally speaking, this part of the SLC area is industrial. However, the park sits pretty much by itself, and is subject to some noise from the nearby Interstates. Easy access to freeway & downtown SLC, and a Flying J is just a short drive north of the park. Park itself is new, clean, with several outbuildings with bath/laundries. Park is secure, with coded gate at entrance. Main building has small sundries/groceries shop, pool, and meeting room. Interior roads are very good and RV pads & auto parking are concrete. Modern picnic tables & small lawns separate sites. Park personnel are knowledgeable and very friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is your average: stack them as close to possible to each other, park. This reminded me of a RV sales lot more then a campground. While brand new, it lacked the feel of a campground. Is more like a stop off because you needed to stop. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Great park to stay in the Salt Lake City area. New park and the sites have grass, paved sites, and concrete area for picnic table and grills. We had a pull-through site and it was 80 ft. long. There absoulty was no problem pulling into the site and leaving in the AM. If time allowed, we would have stayed longer. Great park to spend overnight or exploring Salt Lake City. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very nice new and clean RV Park not far from downtown Salt Lake City. Just off the I-215. It is new so not many trees, however all concrete pads and asphalt streets. Nice pull through spaces and very friendly people in the office. The Clubhouse was big with nice facilities for people to use and a business office with printers and computers. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very clean park just North of Salt Lake City. Very convenient to drive down to the city. Rush hour traffic is huge so be prepared. Sites and roads are paved with grass strip down each side. WiFi is usually fast & free. No cable yet. Would return here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice, friendly and knowledgable staff. Lots of freeway noise but inside we didn't hear it at all. No restrictions for washing rig or truck is a nice touch. Mosquitos LOVE the new grass so make sure to spray if going out. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A very clean, new park. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have lists of local businesses by exit numbers to assist you. Follow the directions on their web site and you will not have a problem finding this park.We have a 41 ft motorcoach and we were in a 60 ft. site that had an additional pad for toad. No shade as the trees are young but immaculately maintained throughout.There is grass on all the lots which has a somewhat cooling affect. The only down side is the laundry which is very well planned out, only has 5 washers and 5 dryers. If you hit it at the wrong time you may have to wait for a machine. The clubhouse is very nice, 2 pool tables and several game tables. The pool and shower areas are immaculate. There is also a computer room with several computers and wifi in the park. We will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice new park. Not a destination park but was great to stay at while visiting SLC due to the proximity to downtown. Very clean, not too crowded, good store, pool, laundry, etc. The only complaint I would have is in the evening it can get kind of stinky due to the proximity to the North SLC refineries. Only outside though. Inside the coach was fine. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The customer Service in this park is less then be desired, the staff needs more training. This park is beautiful from first glance, however once you get their you have a lovely swamp to kayak on, and when summer sits in you will have plenty of bugs to pick you up and take you away. This park was not for me and that is why we left. We camped here in a Motorhome.

As others have said, this is a brand new park. They have various sized sites, which is good - under 40', 40', 60'. Different prices for each - I like this; big rigs pay more, which is okay. Good points: no tall trees yet so the satellites work, paved roads, concrete sites, sites at a diagonal, space for a toad, a nice play area for kids away from the sites, close to the freeways (the park, not the play area). Bad points: close to the freeways, sites slope at the ends - some jacks are way up; roads are narrow - in a brand new park this is a disgrace. Another foot wider would have made turns easier. The 40' site is barely that - we have a 40' MH and it hangs out at both ends. Would another foot have hurt? Next time we will go for a 60' site! The front desk people are nice, but need some more training on dealing with customers, the equipment & the computers. The clubhouse is immaculate and friendly. There are at least a couple of outlying restrooms - didn't check them out. We were told the workers will mostly be leaving the end of the month. The placement of the power pedestals is a problem - they are way forward in the site, more than halfway to the front - our power cord had to stretch. The neighbors almost couldn't open their slide - there was a 2" clearance over the top of the pedestal. So, will we stay here again? Probably, because they don't have the trees the KOA has, but KOA is lots closer to the genealogy library. There is no shuttle or bus into town from here yet. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I would definitely not recommend this park to any weary travellers. It is set between two freeways and construction of new freeways. There were a lot of workers in the park that start to leave for work at 4:30am with noisy trucks and there was constant traffic noise from the freeways all night. Internet does not work all over the park and the cable was not clear reception, and no help from the staff as to why except to tell me it was my problem. Definitely not a relaxing place to be. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice, new park that is just far enough out of the city, yet close enough to be just a 10 minute drive to downtown Salt Lake. The sites are plenty wide, with concrete pads with an additional adjacent concrete area for car parking. The people are very nice, friendly and helpful. The showers/restrooms are the nicest I have ever seen in an RV park - each room is a separate bathroom, with toilet, sink and shower. There is a great lounge in the main building, with pool tables and a large screen TV, and big comfy sofas. There is grass between each site, and a table at each site. We did not use the pool, as it was closed for the season, but it looked nice. The only thing that might pose a problem is that it is quite near a refinery. Although we could see it, we did not notice any objectionably odors coming from it, although if the wind were blowing the wrong way, I think you might. If you ignore the refinery, the views were beautiful - mountains on 3 sides. I would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Pony Express is exactly what we have been looking for - A superb, brand new Resort in Salt Lake! They have just opened up as of a few weeks ago, and I can tell you this is one special place. Great layout, and really designed for big rig navigation. Great value, great location. Close to everything, but just remote enough not to get swallowed up by the big city. Highest recommendation for Pony Express! We camped here in a Motorhome.
