Tips from campers about Orange, VT
- crazdmnd Do not follow the directions from even the RV LIFE RV safe GPS. It took us up Flats Road, which was quite the challenge considering I have a 34 motorhome towing a jeep. Once we got to the top, I unhooked at the lake at the top of the world leaving we went down the foothills Parkway and everything was fine. The recreation.gov confirmation does warn you not to use these roads unfortunately I didnt see it until after we arrived again. I was relying on an RV safe GPS, which was the wrong move that side. We went to cades Cove and did the Rich Mountain Road as well and enjoyed both of those11 months ago Look Rock Campground
- David_66eb18fe051d8 Such beautiful forestry area. Angle at the dump station made draining completely difficult. Be sure to take the hiking trails up to the picnic area and Look Rock Tower especially during sunset! No network available here, SORT OF! I was able to get just enough signal for basic use with my T-Mobile 5G Home Internet device.11 months ago Look Rock Campground
- WRVK545 When you come and visit, I would encourage you to go to Cades Cove, located inside the Great Smokey Mountains. It was beautiful to see (we were able to see two sets of black bears with their cubs along with deer, a red fox, and a lot of turkeys)2 years ago Look Rock Campground
