- East Coast Snowbird Montpelier, capitol is not very far away, with many small shops on every street. And don't forget to stop at Maplefields in Plainfield, VT too, and get some small bottles of Vermont Pure Maple syrup on their inside display. The bottles are in the shape of a maple leaf and a log cabin, and little jugs, in all different sizes. A great gift to bring back to friends and relatives!. They also make pizzas to order in the back of the store, have huge locally just-baked muffins of different kinds, small pies for two, the best egg and sausage sandwiches, and don't forget to have some Vermont Green Mountain Coffee!3 years ago Onion River Campground
- Moe and Flo are on the go Visit Bragg Farm for all things associated with maple syrup and you must try their Maple Creamee. The trail through the woods and up the hill to the apple orchad was a nice evening walk.5 years ago Onion River Campground
