Although well off the beaten path, and a little hard to find, we enjoyed staying here. The park is being renovated with wider spaces and sewer hookups. It was not crowded over Labor Day weekend and there were hayrides, etc... for the kids to enjoy. They have 3 lakes for fishing and a pool for the kids. The bathrooms had been repaired and were well stocked as well as very neat and clean. If you want to get away from it all, I recommend Deer Run. They also have permanents in a certain area in the rear, but they also seemed to be tidy and quiet hours were adhered to by all. We will stay again! We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
Campground poorly kept. Pool was filthy, algae growing. Bathrooms were unclean, no soap to wash hands with, trash on floor. This campground needs alot of work, would not recommend for anyone with children. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
