This was a great park with very friendly help. We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. The sites were level and large enough for our RV and tow plus another car. The cable was a little iffy. Wi-Fi was available at all sites. There was a clam cleaning station. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I just love this park. It's as close as you can be to the fresh ocean air. Just a short walk over the tidelands on a wooden bridge and you're on the Pacific Ocean. Caretakers are extremely friendly and have been doing an excellent job maintaining the resort. It's just like you're back in the 1960's but with all the conveniences of a modern RV. Great cable TV for an extra $3 per night. I so liked this park that I did a membership in Sunrise Resorts which is the owner/operator of the park although anyone can stay here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park has large sites and a great club house. The prices are okay for this area. The nightly rate including TV and Wi-Fi is around 41 dollars. It is not on the beach but you can wade through tall weeds and get to it. The view is really nice. It is kind of hard to find, as there are no signs other than the one on the side of the road: and it is small. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a small quiet park and has dunes between the park and the ocean. It has great Wi-Fi and cable, the managers are very friendly. We stayed for three days using Passport at $15 a night. You should check before coming as sites for large RVs are very limited. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park is adjacent to beach area with vegetated sand dunes between the park and the ocean. Roads are gravel. The sites are reasonably long and could accommodate a large rig. The "pads" are mostly dead grass and quite a few slope sideways. We requested another spot to be more level and were allowed to move. The sites are on a first come first serve basis but although the site we wanted was unoccupied they were holding it for someone because they were a long rig. They arrived very late at night and the two rigs were shorter than our MH. So much for stated policy of first come first serve. The laundry facilities are small. Park is in full sun. 50 amp service is a $3/night upgrade which our price reflects. Most sites have picnic tables. Based on other "resorts" we have occasionally stayed in this is no where near being a resort. Verizon air card reception was terrible. We would shop around at the multiple parks in this area before staying here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

First of all my husband Google mapped this, and Google said it was north of Moclips, wrong!! We finally found this RV park after our hour long trek north past its location. My husband had picked this RV park due to the reviews he saw and the nice web page they have. Web lookers beware!!! So we have the address and my husband had called prior to see if there was a spot available for the next couple of days, and yes, there was. The AT&T cell coverage in this area is spotty at best so we were unable to contact the office to find the exact location. We pulled into the address and my husband says, "This can't be the place." He goes to the office, no one there. Finally one of the residents comes over and said we could just park anywhere. My husband gets back in the truck and we both look at each other, and we know there was no way in HECK we were staying here!!! This is not an RV park; it appears to be a very low rent motel, with what at one time may have been a nice RV park and motel back in its day. The characters that live here to say the least, are scary looking. I WOULD NOT stay here with any children of any age. Scruffy looking men hanging outside the doors of the motel, beers in hand and the women were not much better. This property is up for sale, so that may be another indication also for its very run down appearance. I have to question those excellent reviews The Dunes Beach Resort has gotten. Beware: do not stay here!!!! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Tidelands is nicely located away from noisy towns and public areas. Tenters may fare okay here however, our RV experience was awful. 'Bob' put us into a site that was muddy, had no shade, had dog excrement everywhere, and I was unable to reach the power box on the right side of the site(left side hook-up is the industry standard). He moved us to a site 3 feet from the neighbors and we shared a power box. There is only one 30 amp and one 20 amp plug in each box, and I couldn't even run the reefer without tripping the 20 amp. We moved again. Bob was visibly annoyed with me. I walked the dog and realized there was another whole loop to the park that had large lots, big trees and lots of privacy. There was no one there, and they were not offered to me. The beach is just beyond the dunes but can only be accessed by wading across a canal. The old footbridge lies rotting in the weeds nearby. The whole place is in disrepair. The bathhouse was filthy and reeked of urine. Only one of two showers was in working order and there was visible mold and mildew on the walls. We showered in the rig. We cut our trip short and left the next day. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
