My review is of the newer RV park along highway. RV spaces at the hotel are now for day use only such as while at the casino. Usually, when I spend the night here, I find a vacant site to my liking and drive to the casino hotel where I register with the front desk - $20 per night for back-in and $25 per night for pull-through. Park is clean, inexpensive, and safe place to stay. A travel store with low fuel prices is right across the road. Good areas to walk your dog. Good, free Wi-Fi. Limited over the air TV, but very good dish reception from most sites. A shuttle will take you to the very nice casino which is about 3 minutes away. There are no sewer hook-ups; although, there is an easy to use dump site at the exit. I like this park a lot. We camped here in a Motorhome.
As the previous poster stated, there are two areas to camp. RVs with slide-outs are NOT recommended for the few RV spaces in the Hotel parking lot area. The newer park has a more room, level sites and a nice space to walk dogs. The casino shuttle does come when you call and the park kisok check-in using a credit card is very easy. I believe you can get a discount if you take your receipt and your Players Card to the desk inside the casino. No bathrooms/showers so you must be self-contained. The dump site is at an awkward angle but usable. We have stayed here over the years for an overnight while in transit. Nothing fancy but solid power, water and Verizon signal. We camped here in a Motorhome.
There are actually two RV parks on the casino property. One is at the casino hotel, and has a dozen or so sites. The sites are paved but sloped and very close together; so close that slides would touch if there were rigs on each side. There is no dump station at this site. The other park is located at the intersection of highway 12 and Anderson road, on the southeast side of the intersection (look for the Shell station on the southwest side). This is a newer park with long, wide paved pull throughs, although the space between the paved sites is narrow and doesn't allow room for a table. This park also has good Wi-Fi, and there are no trees to block satellite reception. Both sites have good Verizon cell and data. Regardless of which park you chose, avoid Moon Road as it is narrow; you can access the casino park from the Anderson Road route. Prices for both parks are the same, and I'd recommend staying at the new park unless you have a small rig, since there is a shuttle service. There are no facilities, these parks are purely parking areas with hookups for casino visitors. There is no discount for players unless you are a big spender. If you make a reservation be sure and tell them which park you want to stay at. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Moved here after bad night in another park. Stayed a week, even with no sewer (there is a dump), we had to move and dump once. The casino provides a shuttle to the casino and there is shopping close by. We'll stay again and recommend to others. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Clean, quiet, secure place to overnight. Affiliated casino was very attractive as well although we did gamble or eat there. Especially like the kiosk check in which we used late night. We camped here in a Motorhome.
It is interesting that this park is unattended 24/7. Check-in is via an electronic kiosk (similar to an ATM). There are no restrooms, laundry, etc. There is a convenience store across the street at the tribal gas station. It is, however, very clean, pretty quiet, and the casino shuttle is only a phone call away. I was told that they are working on an agreement with the casino to provide discounts to Players Club guests but as of this writing that is not yet in place. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We would have given it a 10 if it had sewer on site. There was a dump and cleaning water upon leaving if you wanted to use it. Sites were all cement and clean. Good 50 amp power. Price is for a 40 foot site. If you have a smaller rig, the price is $20 per night. A nice quiet place to spend a couple of days. A shuttle will come and pick you up from your site if you want. Would stay here in the area if passing through on Hwy 5. This park is about 8 miles off Hwy 5. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park was clean and the staff was friendly, however, there is no cable or Wi-Fi and it's near Hwy 9 and 99 and the railroad is next to it. So lots of road noise and a train which makes sleeping difficult. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
An okay place to stay for a night or for visiting the casino, the place is clean, the help friendly, an access is easy to get in and out of the sites. The nearest bathrooms, for those without internal facilities, are a hike across the parking lot to the Hotel. No showers are available. We wouldn't stay here again unless we specifically were going to the casino. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
We attempted to stay at this park, however, we were given bad information and missed the CG. There is a new casino RV park under construction but it may be several months to complete. The old park is on the casino hotel parking lot; 20-spaces, first come basis. You find a place and register at the Player’s Club in the casino. Rate is still $14. Our loss as we were too far north to go back when we found out where the park was. On Hwy 12, at Moon Road, turn south ¾ mile to the casino. There is NO SIGNAGE to help you and the road is not as wide as Hwy. 12 leaving you to wonder if you have been given bad information. Unlike us, if you are using GPS, believe the GPS. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A nice clean and well maintained park. There is a nice hotel and casino nearby. If you frequent the casino enough, the stay is free. It is a nice drive (2 lane road) from Elma to Grand Mound and I5. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This new park is connected to the casino's hotel. Paved roads and sites. No sewer. 20 sites. 50/30 amp. First come first served - no reservations. I drove through the park on Sept 9th a Monday and there were about 5 spots available at 3pm. I did not stay here but stayed at the Outback RV Park 5 miles to the east on Highway 12. I will stay at the casino the next time I'm in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Down side to this park is trains running at night and early morning. Too many long term campers with personal items around trailer or motorhome. The plus is wonderful personnel to take care of you. Those areas that are short term campers, are very nice. Will spend time at this campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Arrived after dark but campground well lit, good sized pull throughs. Road noise is loud until late and starts again very early so did not sleep well at all. Would not stay again for this reason. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Park is not fancy, but it's clean and well kept. Even the perms don't really stand out. Wi-Fi worked very well. Cable TV had a few channels and half of them didn't come in. Cable TV appears to be off satellite. Staff is pleasant. Little bit of road noise, but not too bad. There appears to be some traffic all hours of the night, but it didn't bother me that much. Good overnight stop on your way to where ever you are going. Price I paid is Good Sam discount plus taxes. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Right off the I12 and near train tracks, but the road is not busy at night, and we only heard 4 or 5 trains in the week we've been here. Owner and staff are extremely pleasant. Interior roads are adequate, and sites are level, even though a little narrow and short, but we've seen worse. The best feature is the dog "run", which is more of a dog "park"--shaded and huge! We were going to stay 3 days, and ended up staying a week. LOTS to see within an hour's drive of the park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is 2.5 miles from I-5 and so could be a little more convenient to get to, but we found it reasonable. It is a Good Sam park and is very well kept and attractive. The Wifi is excellent here and works as well as anywhere we have been. The sites are not over large but sufficient. Many of the RV sites appear to be occupied by longer term residents. We found this to be a good value for a short visit. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The park is clean, well maintained, and the staff is friendly. The down side is that it's near highway 99 and 9. Also, train tracks run close to the park. Road noise and trains running at night make sleeping difficult. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A good, quiet overnight stop. Lots of long term residents but quiet and friendly. The owners are very nice and helpful. A clean park with good facilities. We would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is OK as a "one-night" campground. Did have pull-throughs, and good Wi-Fi at first. But the sites were extremely close together. You couldn't have a picnic table if you wanted one without being less than a foot from your neighbor's unit. Good office staff (owner), and pretty good dog off leash area. Because of this a reluctant 7, instead of a 6. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This park was very nice. The sites were well kept and have a lot of space. Our only complaint is that with ALL the trees in this area, they cut them all down. It would have been nice to have some trees. A plus is that every site had a light in front of the site, this helped when you were walking your dogs and just made it look nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Rate is the daily average based on the monthly rate. This is a very nice park. We spent a month here while conducting business in the Olympia area; it is one of the few parks in the area with 50 amp power. Sites are good packed gravel; we were there during some heavy rains and there was no problem with run-off or standing water. Sites are a bit narrow with no patios or picnic tables, but wide enough to get slides and awnings out. The grounds, restrooms, and laundry are all well-maintained. There is a park-like dog run at the edge of the park that must be at least half-an-acre. There is a nice clubhouse for group use. Cable TV consists of a total of 12 channels. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. Note: At the exit for this park, on the other (east) side of I-5 is a nice truck wash with reasonable rates. They charged $50 for a 38-foot motorhome. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is an old park. Very tight spaces. All gravel. Owners just spent $200K putting in a new septic system. Just an overnight stop but there appear to be a lot of long term renters. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed her for an overnighter, check-in was fast and friendly, and pull through sites were welcomed. Beyond that, it's not great. The sites are level and long enough but are gravel and pretty narrow. There are no picnic tables or any site improvements. There is a children's playground, but it's rather limited and old and tailored for toddlers. It's about 5 mins off I-5 so it's convenient. There is a bit of road noise off Hwy 12, and there are trains that run occasionally on the other side of the highway. The internet Wi-Fi works well. It was good for a night, but it needs more trees and grass. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This was an overnight stop before joining up with family. Easy in and out and we didn't have to unhook the truck so it fit our needs. We'd stay again if we were in the area. It was mainly just gravel driveways. But they do have a great dog run area which was appreciated! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice park continues to keep itself nice and clean. Some road noise, but not bad. Very nice clubhouse, but not site picnic tables or fires. Staff tends to guests and park as they should. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Our price was senior/Sams. I ditto the other reviews; WIFI is excellent, dog park is excellent and owners are excellent, sites long enough, narrow, but room for slides both way. We enjoyed our time here, would stay longer, but sites are full for weekend. You may need weekend reservations! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice, family fun park. Everyone was happy to be there and it showed. Sites a little narrow for any feeling of camping. Some road and train noise, but the area is clean and pleasant. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Office staff was friendly, campground was clean and neat. Trees around the perimeter but
none within the campground. Road noise did wake me up periodically. Most sites are pull-thru. We camped here in a Motorhome.
