This is a beautiful campground located just outside of Charleston. It is very primitive and offers 20 amp electric and water hookups. The sites are designed for smaller pop-ups and trailers. Be aware that this campground is difficult to get to and you need to follow the state forest signs and not your GPS. The road to the campground is very narrow and steep. They do not recommend traveling with anything over 25'. On the way out the GPS took us a different route that contained very steep switch backs. There is no cell phone service in this campground and we had to drive to the entrance of the State Forest (4.7 miles) in order to make calls. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
