We have been to Mauthe Lake several times. Wonderful state park. Staff is helpful and friendly. Facilities are clean with plenty of hot water. Lake is fun and clean. It is a very nice campground with nice playground, beach., fishing pier, little store, beautiful trail around the lake. Milwaukee river flows through Mauthe Lake. Our kids, 6,4, and 1 love this place. The campground is nice, clean and very quiet. The campsite itself is very wooded and secluded. Would come back in a second! We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
