On the brochure I got from the RV dealer about the campground there were people swimming and holding up big fish which leads you to believe there is water at the campground. Not the case. The campground is located 4 miles from the water on a small island. All that shoreline and they put the campground in the middle of nowhere. To get to the island it's about 100 bucks in ferry fees. Once on the island you start to see there is not as much to do there than where you came from. The staff was nice and it was easy to get a reservation. The island coast is beautiful and the water is clear and cold. I would like to rate this campground higher but due to the lack of activities, 5 is as high as I'll go. I would suggest to save the ferry ride money and stay somewhere else in Door County. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
