The park was run down and trashed. There were junk trailers {mobile homes} in disrepair. Pieces of broken lawnmowers dumped in the corners. Grass was cut here and there but big strips around the hookups not trimmed. Dogs running around from the manager trailer. The rental cabins had a living room sofa on the front porch. The water was only on half the time we were there. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Poorly maintained park, laundry room 3washers, 2 not working, 2 dryers, both not working, clothes lines outside for drying, restrooms& showers just nasty, located in town with no fencing around park, overnite enroute maybe????? We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Spacious gravel pull throughs without amenities in this laid back campground about a mile from town. Has very friendly, helpful owners. Passport America pricing made this a bargain. We would definitely return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Park is in a beautiful location about a mile from town. Owner and help are very friendly. WiFi needs some work if that is important to you. Regardless of this one issue, we would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very nice managers and RV park. This is not a place to spend a week or month. Just a great Passport America RV Park for one or two days. The pull-throughts are nice and long. We have 50 Amp service. Cell service is poor but we have a computer with an AT&T air card and the service is great (especially since I am on it now). Yes, it is dusty - but for $15/night on Passport America - we cannot complain. Give it a try - we feel it is worth it. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a small but nice RV Park. It is right on the highway, but noise does not seem to be a problem at all. The interior roads are good gravel surfaces with well kept grass around the sites. The sites are a little close but I have seen much worse. The grounds are clean and well kept. The hosts are very friendly and ready to help out any way they can. This is a good park for an over-night on the way to Grand Teton or Yellowstone National Parks, or a few days to explore this area including Sink Canyon State Park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Friendly and helpful staff at a relatively new campground. No trees and no visual separation between sites. Roads and sites are gravel. Sites are very long and reasonably wide. All sites are pull-throughs. Not much character at this campground, but it appears to be as good or better than any of the other RV parks in Lander. The nearby Wyoming State Park at the Sinks looks like a better alternative for those seeking scenery and activities. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is an okay campground for overnight. I would not want to stay here for very long. Too dusty. People are friendly and the sites were fairly level and if you need a larger site there were plenty of them. Some of the people are permanent residents evidently. Again, okay for overnight. We went to the porch at the office and were able to get WIFI from there, but not at our site. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
The gravel rv sites are long and level with a good view of the Lander Golf Course next to the campground. Almost all the sites will handle big rigs. The owners are continuing to work on this campground as it's only a couple years old. We camped here in a motorhome and will stay here again when in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was a great over-night stay for us. Rate was w/ SKP card. EZ pull throughs -- nice flowers -- great views of mountains at sunset. Wide and long sites. Nice town for a relaxing week. Family owned CG -- quick check-in. No extra's like pool, play ground ect. Keeps cost reasonable. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This campground is a work in progress, but is an excellent place to stay overnight, or even for a few days. They opened in 2004, and are still working on planting trees, adding amenities, etc, but the host/owners are very nice people. The campground is very easy to get in and out of; the sites are wide and long; one of the easiest in-and-out we stayed at. No shade, none of the "extras" that we never use anyway, like swimming pool, grills, miniature golf, horseshoes. But was very close to the Lander municipal golf course, and the back nine was the view from our site. It also was very clean, with a large grassy area for dog-walking. The owners are dog people too, and do request that we all pick up after our pooches. This is not a "fancy" type of campground, and some would not like it, but if you want a place to stay for the night that is easy and friendly, this is it. The owners have lots of plans for the park, and we plan to return next year to see their progress. Made a perfect stop on our way to Grand Teton Natl Park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park was beautiful! We were at the end of a long drive and managed to find this park on the map. It was a bit of a drive south of Lander towards the Wind River Canyon. It was in a drainage up the canyon and was picture perfect. Typical state park provisions but was right next to a really cool river & was nice to hike around. Staff ware extremely friendly and helpful. For state park camping it was excellent! We camped here in a Tent.
Beautiful views of downtown Lander and mountains. We could walk to downtown businesses. Owners very helpful, many campers come year after year and feel like friends. Large very clean bathrooms. We camped here in a Motorhome.
An excellent campground. Manager was extremely helpful. Had private bathrooms with showers that were spotless! They even had towels to use. Would stay here again. Highly recommended. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stopped here on our way through Wyoming and could not have made a better choice. A lovely campground with the two best hosts I have ever had the pleasure to meet. The owners walked the campground with us to choose the site that would work the best for our rig. Nice wide level sites with gravel. Nice store, friendly people, it makes me wish we stayed a couple more days. Lander is a pleasant, small western town with lots of shopping and just plain nice folks. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here over night on our way to Yellowstone. This is good campground for that purpose or as a base for visiting the area. There is a good view of Lander and the mountains from one end of the campground. Interior roads and sites are gravel and all sites are level. The campground owners were very helpful and friendly. We were escorted to our site. Sites are close together, but there is plenty of room for slide-outs and awning. Maneuvering interior roads is a little tight, but we had no problem with our 32-foot motorhome and tow vehicle. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Above rate reflects weekly rate w/Escapees discount. Sewer connection at extreme rear of pull through sites requires multiple sewer hose extensions to leave toad behind coach, nice grass between sites, very fast and reliable free Wi-Fi, owners very friendly and helpful, they host frequent campfires, ice cream socials, etc, we definitely would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Don't let the long term RV sites at the front scare you off. The nightly sites located at the other end of this park are much nicer. The park sits on a bluff with a great view of the town below. The staff was very friendly and the park exceptionally clean. There is a Pizza Hut just across the street, which we didn't try. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Staff was accommodating & gave helpful local info when asked. Campground roads were only fair but passable. Good free Wi-Fi, no cable. Convenient location to town. Entrance a little deceptive. Sites are a decent size. There were several longer term units there. OK for a night or two. Good Sam rate $32 less 10%. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stay here regularly for a few days to a week while we visit family. The roads are tight for a 42 foot motorhome and some of the monthly folks park in the roadway. There is no cable but the owners are really nice and try hard to keep things under control. We had a newbee decide to run his generator one night after 10pm and the owner was right there telling him to turn it off. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We loved this park! We only stayed one night, on our way to Yellowstone. We stayed in the north one. A small homey RV park. Everything worked great. Great Wi-Fi signal. Level gravel sites with small grassy areas. Our site (PB1) had shade and was a little larger. Solar lights to mark each spot. Flowers all around. Perched up high with the main road down below. Beautiful views--mountains, fields, deer in the valley below. A church and cemetary perched up on the hill across the way--I enjoyed hearing the church bells. Great sunset views. It was June 20 but there was an awesome fireworks show down the valley in town. Very nice owners, we enjoyed visiting with them. A nice little store in the office. She gave us a tour and although we didn't use them, the showers and laundry room looked very clean. Nice rigs and nice neighbors. The PB sites aren't huge but we never felt crowded. Make sure you go see Sinks Canyon before you leave. Very interesting. If we ever get back to this area, we would stay here in a heartbeat! We camped here in a Truck Camper.

Older camp needs a lot of TLC. Don't think the sites were laid out by someone who was a camper. Was fine for a stopping place for the night but wouldn't stay there long term. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is one of two parks with the same owners. This one is 9 miles south of town. Easy access into park and in park. Pull-thrus are long and mostly level. Some sites are gravel and some are grass. Cafe is good. They carry a few supplies in the office. Manager and family very accommodating. His children help in the business. Pet friendly as manager has pets but they do not run loose. Children friendly with small playground. Small river runs beside campground property. Good for overnight if passing thru or for extended stay if you like quiet. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very crowded park, we did get our big rig into a pull through site, some shade, lots of gravel, minimal grass, owners very pleasant and helpful, would stay here again if in area as rv parks are not well maintained in this area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The owners have two locations in Lander. We stayed at the smaller one on the south side of town. The park was nice. There was adequate space in the pull-throughs for pull outs and longer rigs. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location is on a hill and offers a nice view. My only complaint was the driveway coming in to the park. It was steep coming off the highway. If you angle your entry just right, you shouldn't have a problem. The wireless internet does have a short range and if you are not in the first row, you will need to go to the office to receive signal. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This campground is only three years old. The trees are really small. Quiet hours were not enforced people coming into sites at all hours. The bathhouse is very clean and is set up in family style. They have meals cooked every night and ice cream socials almost as often. Family owned and operated. We camped here in a camper.
This 3-year-old park would normally get a higher rating just for its new building and nice, large restroom but the place was poorly planned and not worth an overnight. Thank goodness for the PA rate of $16 plus tax, only reason we stayed (and because the Pioneer park, closer to town, had no showers nor RR). Was given a site on the row right next to the very noisy highway, and the sewer connection in the grassy middle strip was too far away even for my long hose. The narrow pull-through site was not level. VZ aircard didn't work, had to go back to office and ask for password into Wi-Fi, which wasn't offered at check-in. Wi-Fi did not work til close to midnight due to others. Only one bathroom per gender, behind the office down a steep, dark hill. Owner (?) wasn't very friendly, wasn't even around the next day: office was closed. Strange place. Would try in town next time. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here 3 nights. The owners were very friendly and helpful and were busy with landscaping during our stay. Our Sprint phone had 1 bar, the same as our Verizon Air Card. They said their Wi-Fi was having problems: it was slower than dial-up, even at 5:30 a.m. The sites are easy in and out, and the water and electric worked well. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Sweet people. Clean campsite. Water, sewer, 50 amp, and internet...that's what we were looking for. This is south of Lander in the middle of nowhere. It's a very small campground with full hookups on narrow pull-through sites that are still large enough for slides. There is road noise. We would stay here again if we needed to be in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
New and still a little rough around the edges. Rec area under construction. One shower, one washer and dryer, one men's restroom, and one women's restroom. WiFi generally only works in or near the office. We were 50 feet from office and couldn't get a signal. Next to highway, but the noise was not a problem for us. We camped here in a Motorhome.
