A little out of the way but a beautiful place of an overnight or if your just looking for a quite place to hang out. We camped at Roman Nose State Park & Lodge in a Travel Trailer.

There are a few hiking trails here, which are pretty well maintained. If it's rained, you will come back with thick red clay on your shoes, so make sure you wear good hiking shoes. The nearest town is about a 10 minute drive with a couple gas stations, a Family Dollar, and a very clean Love Truck Stop. The General Store on site was small and cute, but had some essentials and awesome niche gifts.
