This is a nice family park. There is a lot for a family to do although there is an extra charge for some of the activities. The pads are very level. The staff is constantly cleaning up and picking up trash bags at the sites. They have several sites that are connected for several RVs camping together to share a covered patio area which were nice. Although we did not use them, the restrooms and showers were spotless. I would highly recommend this campground especially for family groups.
This park is very nice. Although they do not have on site sewer there is a large dump station. The sites are very spacious and all pull through. There are no activities in the park other than watching the horses that are in the paddocks but it is conveniently located for sightseeing. The park was extremely quiet the two days that we were there. I highly recommend this park especially as a one or two night stop over.
We did not stay at this campground. We made our reservation while on the road. It is several miles off I-10 on a very narrow winding road. The entrance to the campground and the roads within the campground are very narrow. There were many old, dilapidated RVs in the park. There were also many dogs running loose. We were told our site was full hook-up on a pad. The pad turned out to be grass and was not large enough for our 44' motor home. We were offered another site but were not able to get into them either. We were given a full refund. The family that owns the campground were very nice and tried to be accommodating but the state of the campground and facilities were very poor. I would not recommend this campground.
