Quite shocking that this campground uses the word "resort" in it's name! We were charged $99 per night for a messy, rocky campsite that was on top of some storage trailer! Internet was so weak we could not get a signal to use it. Next to us were a bunch of tents full of teenagers, which I understand is a regular practice. They were not loud, but monopolized the bathroom facilities. After talking to other campers, we found out that everyone was charged different rates! Everything from $59-$99 per night! If I had paid $35 a night there would be no complaints, but at $99 you would expect a lot more! Unfortunately, there is not a lot to choose from in the Teton area and this place is taking full advantage of it. Will not stay there again at that price!
We stopped here overnight after visiting Bass Pro Shops. We wanted to eat at Lamberts. This campground is right behind Lamberts, so we were able to walk there. The camping area is a big gravel lot with full hook ups. No showers or laundry facilities. However, very clean and tidy. No one was in the office upon our arrival, so we just picked out our spot, filled out a form on an envelope and deposited our money in the honor box! We were very happy with our site and this camping area. It is not "camping", but if you are looking for a good base camp and have your own bathroom, this place is great! Would definitely stay here again!
This is a great campground for an overnight stop. We picked this campground based on other reviews and was not disappointed. It is a no frills campground, so don't expect a lot of extras. If you want a very clean, neat and quiet place to stay overnight, this is it. Our site was so level, we did not even have to unhook our truck. The cable and Wi-Fi are great. The owner was very friendly and helpful. If you stay here, be sure to walk up the street to Del's steakhouse. Excellent food and service. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!
