We pulled off for an overnight stay. It was fine. I abhor extra person charges...2.00 per person over two people. This wasn't stated anywhere, even in the office. Just a pet peeve. Probably won't be back. The sign on the door indicated that there were only electric and water hookups, no sewer. As I pulled in at 9 pm and left at 8 am I didn't see or use any amenities or facilities. I also can't comment on the website address or the GPS address. For some reason, it comes up as a golf course in the GPS and internet.
What a piece of paradise! We camped here for one night on a stream-side site. The owner of the park lent us a 50-30 amp converter so we could have the executive creek site. The sites are level and the campground is clean. There is a driving range and a very well stocked store for kayakers. They do a river float where they drop you off five miles upriver and you can float back down in your tube or kayak. I am excited to come back here one day.
It's a KOA. It's like eating at McDonalds--you know what you're going to get. I wanted a place where I could count on having what I needed and not have to second guess the reviews of other campers for other campgrounds in the area. This place is great. Pool, shuffleboard, game room, mini golf, shady sites, and most importantly, it's very quiet here. We did our laundry and the owner told us which dryer ran longer and hotter. I would stay here again without a doubt.
We were coming back from All Good Festival and needed a place to stay. Sites were big but not level. Ours had a picnic table and fire ring. No water hookups but water was accessible through spigots around the park. Don't know how you would fill your tank. Dump station was fine. The lady in the office was lovely. They had miniature golf.
The only shady thing here, is this "park." It's not a park: it's someone's land and they put down about a dozen hookups. I don't know what a tenter would do: I see no bath house. It's not shady, it's in an open field. I only read the 10 out of 10 review about the wondrous experience provided here and decided to go for it. Big mistake. It's ugly, unattractive and just plain not an RV park. The road up to this is single lane. For $25 bucks I could have stayed somewhere a whole lot nicer.
