The new owners have brought this campground up to the level it needs to be. The CG is in the middle of no where, but that's the draw. No traffic, no noise and a big campfire. Great layout with almost all pull-through spots. Two meeting rooms for groups and a pond that the owner "says" there are fish in? You can see hundreds of catfish in the water when he feeds them, but put a fishing line in the water and they all disappear! The owners are some of the friendliest and accommodating folks we have met.

We stayed at the campground for a rally. Nice layout with plenty of room to maneuver. All roads and sites are gravel, which can be a bit dusty with lots of traffic, however, the staff uses the water truck for the horse track to water the roads and keep the dust down; impressive! Casino on-site and a horse track as well. This campground is located east of Claremore.

Excellent campground! The campground is new and all roads and sites are concrete. Very level and all long pull-through sites! The office looks like a convention center with games, indoor pool, meeting room and a fairly well stocked RV supply area. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. When you stay here, they give you a $10 credit at the casino and a free shuttle ride to the casino. The casino and restaurants were on par with casinos in Vegas.

The park is very well laid out with plenty of maneuvering room, although it appears tight in spots. Drives and sites are concrete and level. Very friendly staff! They assisted us in locating a part for our camper, even calling another competing park to ask if they had any ideas on where to locate the park. Very quiet area and close enough to shopping and the ocean. The best park of all the ones we went through in the Rockport area. We will return.

This is a member-owned park where everyone owns their site. When the sites are not occupied the management rents the site out. Even during the peak of the snowbird season there were plenty of sites available and several for sale as well. This is a beautiful park with many amenities including an on-site restaurant. Very friendly staff, immaculately groomed landscaping and they have their own 18 hole golf course!

Located right next to the interstate. Some noise, but nothing too bad. Friendly staff and plenty of room. This campground serves as a great stopover point for snowbirds.

The campground is a former KOA, but the price doesn't show that. One of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed in. Concrete roads and level concrete pads. The owners and staff were super nice. This is the fifth campground the owners have purchased and turned around. We could tell the difference. The bathrooms and showers were cleaner than the bathrooms at my home!

This could truly be a great campground, except for the owners! Our camping club has stayed at this park for three years. The new owners took over last year and they seemed OK then, but this time the way they handled things with our group and determined that we won't be back. Not all sites have a deck overlooking the water, as advertised in most places. Two of our group requested a specific site, which was promised by the owner who took their reservation. When they arrived however, they were stuck in a spot in the opposite end of the campground. I guess I shouldn't use the word campground anymore to describe this "RV resort". The park is set up such that a motorhome can pull in and towables back in, to the same spots. You share your hook-ups with your neighbor, that's OK until you find out that your neighbor and most of the other folks in the park now, rent their RV spot for the season and they padlock the electrical boxes shut! When I asked the owner about they said “they paid for the site they can lock the electrical box if they want to!” So, I was “loaned” a 50' 30 amp extension cord that I had to plug in to the hook-ups on the other side of my spot, plus I had to pay a deposit and leave my CC number for, just in case I ran off with it. But, upon check-in I was told they didn't accept credit cards? The clubhouse, which is an old lake home that they have turned into a club house, is dated, it was musty and we were scolded when we turned the A/C down to a reasonable temp. The first couple of years the clubhouse was provided at no charge, this year it cost us. The owners were very rude, they were untruthful about the sites they had promised to some of our members, the electrical service is woefully underpowered and they are turning this great campground into a pay by the season park. I can not recommend this park until the current owners leave and when our club left we told the owners that would be the last time we were going to be there.

There is a reason why this campground is named Elk Meadows; that’s exactly what it is. The campground sits on a mountain meadow, however, there’s not much grass in most of the Rockies, so don’t get your hopes up. However, we saw elk in and around the campground just about every evening, so be careful when you are driving through the area. The park is located at the edge of Estes Park and it’s next door to the entrance to RMNP. The sites are gravel and ours was level, as were the three others traveling with us. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we were escorted to our sites, we were all parked together and the cable TV and WiFi worked great. After looking at most of the other campgrounds in the area, if you have a big rig, this is just about the only one in the area that will work.

Interstate 70 across Kansas seems like a wasteland and then we found the oasis that we were looking for, the Wakeeny, KS KOA. We had planned to stay at a different location on our westward trip, but we went farther than expected. We called ahead and checked to see if they had sites available. The extremely friendly staff said, “Come on!” and we did. When we got arrived, during business hours, we found the office was closed, but a note was on the door explaining they would return soon. All of our paperwork was located outside with instructions telling us which site to go to. Only later did we find out the reason why the office was closed, the staff had taken one of the campers to a local doctor after they became ill! How about that for service? Definitely worth the stop when you are traveling through Kansas.

Just off of I-80 and easy to get to. The campground is located right next to the store and it’s an excellent place for an overnight stop. The campground has everything that you would want for a quick stay and one price ($24.00) gets you everything; 30/50 amp, water, sewer and cable. The restrooms were spotless and the staff was great. There is a shuttle (golf cart) that will run you back and forth between the store. The Internet service is dial up only, but then again you’re in the middle of Nebraska. There is an RV store right across the street, along with an RV wash. Lot’s of restaurants in the area as well.

So-so campground. The owners were nice and even offered to help with a camper repair that I had to make while there. The grounds, pool, mini-golf course were in excellent shape, the restrooms could have used a little more attention though. The fishing pond wasnt much of a fishing pond. It was full of cattails and moss, but we werent there to fish. They did have pull-thru sites, all two of them. Overall I would say that it wasnt too bad for an overnight stay like we had.
