We stayed at the Camper's Haven Campground located in Arcadia, Nova Scotia which is about a five-minute drive from the town of Yarmouth. This makes it very handy when you need to pick up some groceries etc. while you're camping. The staff at the campground are all very friendly and accommodating. The pull-through sites are easy to get into with a few shrubs and small trees separating the lots. There are plenty of mosquitoes however. It's a good campground and we would stay there again but we wish that there were stricter rules regarding quiet hours. Most people who go camping, especially transient rv-ers appreciate a quiet campground after 10 P.M. or so.
We stayed here and thought it was, overall, a wonderful campground. It's close proximity to Halifax made the visit that much better. We found the campground to be very clean with many beautiful trees around much of the sites. The one downside to the campground is that in a lot of the sites, there are two available lots back-to-back on the same site, which can be very annoying privacy-wise. We definitely want to return to this RV park, but we would try to find a 'single' lot on our next visit.
