Strategically located to visit Calaveras Big Trees State Park, Yosemite, and The Calaveras County Fairgrounds. Wonderful manager and owners, dedicated to constant improvement to the park. Most recent improvements include a community fire pit & large dog park with agility devices. There is a community pavilion with several cook-tops, a playground area for kids, a walking path around a small pond, and a community garden. There are two bath houses, with one being in the main registration building. All facilities are very clean and well maintained. They have 5 small cabins and 2 larger "park models" that are called lodges (bath & kitchen included). The Wi-Fi here is spotty but works best in the main building. The park is located outside the city limits therefore, only DSL is available. We found it to be as good as most RV parks. There are a few permanent tenants but most are located together away from vacationers (a nice strategy). Overall, we liked this park & expect them to continue to get even better with time. It's obvious the owners and manager care a lot about their place and their guests.

We overnighted here using Passport America. Clean park just off Interstate 5. Checked in after hours. The manager had a pull through site selected for us and written on a dry erase board. Even gave us the internet code. We didn't try it though. We will use this park again if we need a stop over on our way somewhere. Cheaper than running the generator all night.

Very large lots. Excellent campground. Well maintained. Free laundry. The staff was very courteous & helpful. The ITT office shares the building with the campground office. The RV/car wash was very nice. Someone put a lot of thought into this park. We loved it & will probably return for at least a one month stint. There are coyotes on the base that were introduced to keep down the squirrel, rabbit & raccoon population. We saw one during the day trotting alongside the road near the park. We were informed not to let our dog stay outside on a leash as he might be a target. Great access in & off base.

Brand new facility within 10 minutes of Oceanside Beach. Many level, pull through sites. Heated pool & Jacuzzi with handicap access. Free WiFi system with many transponders. Easy in & out, plus convenient to interstate. Will only improve over time.

Rate reflects monthly cost that is all inclusive. Excellent location. Very attentive & friendly staff. We stayed here a month in November & loved the place. Although it is lacking amenities like a pool, shuffleboard or pickleball, what it does offer is convenience to everything San Diego has to offer! Ride your bike to the boardwalk, Sea World, farmers markets, etc. There is a wonderful park right outside the gate with volleyball, bike paths, picnic areas with firepits & more. Parking is good but sites are all asphalt. No problem there as they are kept very clean. It was a 2 minute walk to the Bay! We will probably make this our winter home while we are on the west coast. Getting mail was easy. The management even delivered it to us on a couple of occasions.

Stopped here for two nights in order to do repairs on antifreeze system before heading over the mountains to San Diego. Rate reflects Passport America prices. We would not have stayed here at thei full prices. Very friendly & helpful staff. Very clean restrooms with large showers. Road is pea gravel, sites are larger gravel. Staff maintains park very well. They even ave a recycling program. We were able to get our 40' Mandalay washed & hand waxed for $100! They even pressure washed our tandem tow dolly for free! We would stay here again as the location is great & so is the rates.

Easy access off the interstate. Good for overnight, but not a destination. Looks primitive with no landscaping or picnic tables. Pretty barren, but has level sites. Feels old and in need of updating and paint. Good stopover for the price. Halfway between San Antonio, Texas and Las Cruses, New Mexico. The manager is very nice and helpful.

Great rate through Passport America. It was very dusty. Lots of construction just outside property. We would have stayed another night if PA rates went beyond 2 nights. No cable. Internet very slow. Hotel looks in need of renovation. Restaurant had three customers that we saw over a two night stay. Great place if you want to go to White Sands National Monument or tour wineries.

Very nice park walking distance to the beach. We stayed here a month in the off season. Perfect weather with very little crowds. Only rained 2 days out of 30. yeah... We left the day of the shrimp festival. Clean bathrooms & laundry facility. Very friendly & helpful staff. We will stay here again next time we pass through Gulf Shores.

Quaint park in town. Well manicured & extremely clean. Wi-Fi was good. The manager met our coaches at the office & was extremely helpful. Great restaurants nearby & very fairly priced. Showers in the laundry building were small (RV size) but very clean. We would definitely stay here again.
