This is a nice park with a newer lodge with lots of games for the kids and a nice pool. The bathrooms were clean but not well stocked: several were out of TP or hand towels. The sites are much wider than normal but the pads are sand or gravel or just grass. The hookups are in good condition. There was no internet or cable but the TV reception was very good. My biggest complaint was that quiet time allegedly started at 10 but a loud party went several hours beyond that and the can recycling bin was overflowing with beer cans. This might not be the place to go for a quiet getaway!

This is basically a large, flat parking lot with a gravel strip running down the middle of the rows. It would be much better if the gravel was replaced by cement, the spot is only as level as the gravel. You are walking on and your lawn chairs are on the gravel. There are no trees or grass except for the south and east sides of the park. The only fire rings are on these grassy areas. Try to reserve a site on the south end. The grassy area on the east side is for tents. There are only two small areas dogs are allowed on so it is best to leave Fido at home. It is also best to leave the kids at home because there is not much for them to do. The bathrooms are very nice and very clean. The managers are very friendly and helpful. The price is right and it is a good place to stay if you are going there for the casino or as a base camp for exploring Red Wing and the National Eagle Center.

This is one of the nicest parks I have been to. It has large lots with level cement pads and parking for two vehicles. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you have a good stay. There are currently one ladies room, one men and one shower (which is free) but a bathhouse is under construction. There is also a free washer and dryer. The clubhouse and bathrooms were very clean and overall the grounds are very well kept. There is no store on site but the town is a short drive. A couple things to be aware of: They do not allow tents or popups, and the water hookups for the travel trailer sites are about 20 feet away so bring some extra water hose. This is the nicest campground in the Brainerd area - we will be returning!

This park is off a busy highway with train tracks across from it and a chopper shop next door. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is not for you! Otherwise it has a lot to offer including a very large indoor pool. The sites are a bit tight and the campground could use a bit of updating. The restrooms and showers were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This park has a lot to offer - a swimming pool, volleyball, horseshoes, and a large field for a game of baseball or football. The problem is the owners are so rude and grumpy they will probably yell at you for trying to have a good time. My early teenager was yelled at for using the Rainbow climber but nowhere was there a sign stating a maximum age or weight limit. Some kids were having fun riding their bikes over a mound of dirt. The owner barricaded it. Some campers a couple lots down were putting up a tent. The owner watched them putting it up then when they were finished yelled at them that tents weren't allowed. The bathrooms aren't that great and the showers are pay. The roads are paved but very narrow and are not one way. Our campsite had a nice crushed rock pad but was badly off level both front to back and side to side. I will not be staying here again unless it is under new ownership.

This is a beautiful, clean and well maintained campground very close to the Twin Cities. The pads are level and the bathrooms and showers are very clean. It is also close to Valleyfair and Mall of America. The one and only drawback is that it is also close to the airport and there will be the occasional jet flying overhead.

We have stayed here several times and have always had the same wonderful experience. Sites are level and the campground is clean. There is a very clean bathhouse. There are a couple ponds in the campground stocked with fish. Located about 10 minutes from Duluth.

We hadn't stayed here in a couple years and were pleased to find it had been completely remodeled. It now has a TV room, a game room with two pool tables and the nicest, cleanest bathrooms I have seen in a while. The showers have locking doors instead of shower curtains. You will get many TV stations with a good signal and a good wi-fi signal. The only bad thing about this campground is the train tracks that are very close to the campground and are frequently used.

We stayed here 3 nights. The first night we stayed at the non sewer sites which are on the lake and have a beautiful view. It is spoiled though by the constant noise from a highway that runs past the campsite. The sites are very narrow though and your awning practically touches the slide of the next camper. The sites are not very deep and with our 26' trailer there was little room to park our truck. Electrical hookup is 20 amp and has no breaker! There are two outhouses that smell terrible and have a couple full fly strips in them. There is a bath house which you have to cross the highway to get to. It has a flush toilet with a non locking stall door and decent showers. The towel dispenser went a day with no towels. There is no dump station. The next day we moved to a full hookup site. To get to it we had to drive up a rutted dirt road. The site was larger than the lakeside site and still had a lake view. The 30 amp hookup again had no breaker! From this site you can still hear the highway but it is not as bad. There is a game room with a pool table, a pinball machine and a couple antique video games. There is also a flush toilet that was plugged. The best thing we found was a huge sauna. We got no TV stations and while a wireless internet search found a signal for Silver Rapids they claimed they had no internet access when we asked for the security key. Not a big deal when you are looking to get away from it all. We decided to leave a day early and on our first day we asked to cancel our last day and they refused to refund our money.
