Great park and location. Lots of bike/walk trails. Can walk to lake with lots of picnic areas. Used satellite with no problems, however, friends with a Motorhome were unable to get satellite reception. Got a couple channels with regular antenna. Many different types of sites to accommodate all types of rigs. We didn't have a full hook up so it took a while to dump at the dump station at the park. That was the only downside. The best shower ever: hot and lots of pressure. Close to Astoria and Seaside.
We love this park. It is very clean with wide, level spaces. It has a view of the bay or ocean. It has great bicycling and fishing nearby. Office was very accommodating when needing to fax some documents.
This place was real scary at first. Pool was empty. It was on the highway so it was noisy. We had one of the nicest spots, space 28.; I think there were only two nice spots. All sites are pull thru. Ours was a pull thru off to the side so we had lots of soft green grass outside our door as well as a picnic table. We didn't venture into the bathrooms. We would only consider this as an overnight stay when passing through town.
Wasn't sure about this place at first, but it turned out to be great. There were level, wide pull thrus and very clean bathrooms. In the evenings we walked across the street to the ocean. Just before leaving for this vacation, I got an offer on my house (selling). The owners of this campground hand delivered faxes to our site so I could call and review with my real estate agent. In the evening (after the office closed) I went across the street to send faxes. Would stay here again.
This is a wonderful RV resort. The sites are completely level set on brick pavers with large amount of space between sites. When we were there some of the facilities were closed for the season. I used the exercise room and one afternoon we went into the rec room and watched some football on a big tv. This room had a huge fireplace, kitchen, couches. Showers were as nice as home. We had bicycles and could ride to town. The staff was the best! I don't have one complaint or recommendation. We live in Portland and plan to make many trips to this park. This is a great area. We stayed in 40' 5th wheel toyhauler and we had room to have the garage open and still had room for the truck. The sites are huge.
I agree with the prior reviews. Extra nice showers/restrooms/laundry. Well spaced sites. Nice views from all of our windows. It sites are elevated. Great for bike riding. No kids to be seen at this park. Very clean, easy access. The wireless internet worked perfectly here. We would definitely stay here again.
Nice park. Our site was a very short walk to restrooms and short walk to pool/exercise area. Both were in good condition. I'm looking forward to going back. Didn't go to Cafe but it looked very nice. Good for walks, hiking, bike riding. Game room was dated and didn't smell very good. Played pool but other games were falling apart.
It was kind of like being in a parking lot but pretty nice. Easy walk to the beach. Picnic tables between very narrow sites. Very friendly staff. Clean park. Would stay there again. I don't think there were activities for kids.
This is an adult friendly campground. Excellent restrooms and shower. As nice as home. Pull throughs were a little bit narrow and spaces kind of small but overall it is a great place to stay Laundry room had ironing board, games, and movies you could use. They just started having continental breakfast but did have coffee every morning. Great room with pool table/ping pong. Tables and cooking facilities with big refrigerator for anyone to use. You could only have fires in a designated area that looked very nice. We can't wait to go back and stay longer.
Easy to get to. Near lots of stores and restaurants. Good size site. Friendly staff. Restrooms very warm as they are in a trailer. No shade so it was very hot. Would probably stay here again as a short stopover. We had a pull thru site.
They took our reservation for a 40 foot 5th wheel. They showed us two sites that were absolutely unacceptable. We drove into one site and were lucky to get out. They showed us another that we wouldn't have fit into either. If you have a big rig, I would recommend going elsewhere, which is what we needed to do. We normally like KOA but this one couldn't accommodate us.
