Pretty nice park, not as private as most provincial parks we've been in, not as much "nature" between sites so you feel kind of open to your neighbours. Lake was beautiful and so cold but it was really hot when we went so it was a welcome change. Mosquitoes were getting pretty bad by July. The lock on the outhouse closest to our site was broken.
Really enjoyed our stay here. As someone mentioned before, the mosquitoes were pretty bad and the trains do go by quite often but they are down the river so we didn't really hear them from where we were staying. And what are they supposed to do about the mosquito population, right? Clean showers and bathrooms, we used the new shower building and it was divine, $1.00 for about 7 minutes of hot water. Nice old growth trees, lots of shade but still enough access to the sun! Would definitely stay here again.
