We stumbled across this park looking for an overnight stop and ended up staying the full weekend for the Bluegrass Festival that is held here every year. The place was actually packed and everyone had to share sewer facilities but that was not a problem. We had a great time. The area is all grass but level and easy to get in and out of.
Beautiful location, full amenities, very clean laundry room, sites were level with plenty of space between trailers. Park was clean and well maintained. We had electrical problems (ground fault) that was taken care of immediately, they even came by the next day to insure that everything was to our liking. Very crowded on the weekend with lots of families, but the weekdays were very peaceful. We stated for 4 days and enjoyed everyone of them. Would definitely stay here again.
Sites are very uneven, our pull-through site had a huge bump and several pot holes in the middle of it. The WiFi worked well but was censored. Overall a disappointment but if you are just staying overnight it would meet your needs.
Big RV site, large pull-thru sites with lots of room all around. Park is clean and well maintained. It appeared that long term residents were at the back of the park. Sites were fairly flat. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Laundry area could have been cleaner and better organized and there were wasp nest on the ceiling. Wi-Fi was ok. Would stay here again if I was passing through.
Very clean park, excellent staff, laundry facilities were well maintained. We stayed here while doing some site seeing in the county. There are lots of museums in the area within a one hour drive. The only thing I have to criticize is that there are no shade trees, but I knew that before I got here.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice flat/even site. Easy to get in and out. Beautiful shade trees. Wi-Fi worked great. Very convenient to everything. Super Target 1 block away. Shopping mall less than a mile with plenty of places to eat. We will be back.
The rangers at this park are very friendly and helpful. We practically had the whole place to our self due to the fact that the lake is so low because of the drought in the area. The area is typical west Texas with mesquite trees and scrub brush. The sites with water and electric hook up are easy to get to, as is the dump station. This would be a great place to use for family reunions because it has such wide open spaces and the day areas are not fully utilized. It was very peacefully and a great place to get away from it all. I will definitely return.
This is a beautiful park with nice wide roads and spaces between the sites, our site was graveled and the staff rake the gravel after each use. The onsite office/store is nice and well stocked, the staff is very friendly and the park is very quite. Hook up was easy and convenient. The surrounding area is an older neighborhood but it is quiet and shopping, restaurants, downtown, and entertainment is easy to get to. The only caution I would give is that the water pressure is very high and a regulator is required. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return.
Staff was very friendly and easy to work with. We arrived late and it was a little confusing to find our site, but the staff came out to ensure we were settled in properly. Nice shady park, pull thru was graveled and maintained. All hookups were easily accessible and in good working order. Shopping, restaurants, beaches, and entertainment was well within reach of this site. This is an older park with several permanent residents. We would definitely stay here again.
