This is a very clean, well maintained park right next door to the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum. There is actually a cement walking path from the park over to the museum. The sites are 65 feet, level concrete pads. The laundry facilities, showers and restrooms are all housed together and kept immaculate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rate reflects the weekly rate.
This is a nice little campground nestled in a scenic canyon about a mile from the Visitor's Center on a well maintained gravel road. It is an ideal location if you have ATVs as there are several access points to the Paiute ATV trail systems...and you can ride right from your campsite. Our rig is 66' in length and we had no problem finding a nice back-in site. There are also a few double pull through sites (you have to pay double for the site). We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
Definitely nothing fancy, but it was a good home base for visiting Bryce Canyon and much cheaper than RV parks/campgrounds closer to the canyon. Although right on the highway, there isn't much traffic at night so we were not bothered by noise. There is one washer/dryer set up in a lean-to which is a little bizarre, but the machines were clean.
Some large sites. Our total length is 63' and we fit into site 77 with plenty of room to spare. Absolutely beautiful park with plenty of beach areas. Great hiking...our favorite was to Margaret Falls--a short and fairly easy walk to beautiful falls. For the more advanced hiker, take the canyon trail...a good hike with spectacular views of the lake. Only downside--trees along the roads and entrance to some sites need trimming.
Beautiful campground. Large well spaced sites--all back in. Big rigs would have absolutely no problem especially on the perimeter loop of the campground. Inner roads a little narrower. Campground is built on hillside so lovely views of lake from upper sites. Huge grassy park-like beach area and boat launch. Only downside--wish there were more hiking trails.
