This is a decent park and we stay here for several months each year for work. We love the staff and the location. They are adding new spots which look nice but maybe smaller. The only thing we don't like is large amount of permanent dwellers but then we are here four months each year so I guess we are part of the group. Definitely would stay here again. Nightly rate reflects monthly rate we paid.
This was an adequate park, but fairly tight both in spot size and going through. The staff were very nice, but we were in one of only two pull-through spots and ours was right next to the restrooms. With our slides out there really wasn't any space left. We would camp here again but only as a stopover or to see the kids (which is why we were here this time) but would not enjoy sitting out in our spot. Next to freeway, but aren't they all and next to a supply house of some sort.
We like the park but if you are a big rig you won't be Abe to get to level without wood blocks which they do furnish. Still couldn't get Evelyn but close. Roads so narrow you couldn't use a pull thru site as a pull thru sit if you wanted to. Best sites are for smaller rigs. Internet only free first hour. In this day and age really? Sites narrow for big rigs. Good points: well maintained, nice staff, nice setting, good location for visiting Seattle.
This is a decent park. The staff seem friendly and the grounds are well kept. We are only staying one night so keep that in mind. We are staying in the middle of the park and the freeway noise isn't an issue and the train doesn't really bother us but it does come by at least once an hour. Our only real complaint is the park is half empty but yet they chose to put us in a spot that basically has unusable outside space because the the utilities and other garbage in our site. However, all said we would come back but would make sure we ask for any spot but 208.
This campground is over rated. Yes, they have all the amenities but they don't take care of them. The sites are unkept and the lawns are very long and look like they haven't been mowed in several weeks. Large weeds everywhere. The good point is that, the spots are good and easy to access. The staff is friendly and it is well located off the freeway. But honestly, we will probably head on the down the highway to a different park next time.
I don't usually rate Oregon State Parks because they are what they are. Good and very camping like. However, if you have a bigger rig they make it tough. As an example, they will list a pull though at 79 ft but the curve is so great that they are usually very tough to get into. They also don't tend to keep their trees trimmed for either motorhomes or fifth wheels. This is a great campground. I just wish they would consider the bigger guys as well.
This is a great park. The grounds are beautiful, the sites are huge, and the facilities are wonderful. They recently upgraded their Wi-Fi so the download and upload speeds are top of the line. The staff is very friendly and easy to deal with. Our rate was for a June special in the platinum sites so it isn't the cheapest in town but well worth the $. The only downside (and the only reason it didn't get a 10) in my opinion is for those of us who travel extensively important. They will not accept mail at the resort unless it comes in certified or registered. In all of our travels (and there has been a lot) we have never ran into this type of issue. I think it goes over the top in anti-customer service. However, that being said we love this place and we will stay again.
This park really should be a ten. Everything is well kept and the spots are nice and grounds are great. However, two things drive us nuts. One is the fact that the spots are very narrow. If you leave your window open and the neighbor is outside you feel like you are part of the conversation. The other is way too many full time people. They keep the overnighters separate but some of the stuff they let stay here is not really all that great of shape. But all said we would stay here again.
This is a nice park located close to downtown but away from it all. We hide a nice view of the river. The spot they put us in was a little tight and would have been impossible if the park were full, but it wasn't so all was good. Staff very nice. We'll be back.
This is a great park and everything is in pristine shape. We stayed in a deluxe big rig site and were not disappointed. We thought after Labor Day no issue but we called a day or two ahead and were lucky to get in. The sites are beautiful and staff is excellent. We would stay her anytime. The price was a weekly rate. It is high but considering where we are and what they charge in the restaurants around here for ugh food this is a bargain.
This is a very nice park especially for a KOA. Pricy for what it is but aren't all KOA's? We had stayed at Yellowstone down the street and hated it so this is a nice change. Staff was very nice and site was wonderful. Would stay here again.
Basic gravel sites and hookups but everything works and plenty of room for big rigs. We are only here overnight but would return. Anything is better than the high priced poorly rated KOA down the road. People very friendly and we thought the facilities were fine.
This is basically a parking lot at the marina but location! location! location! Right on the water (behind the boats) and two blocks from the aerial bridge where the ore boats go in and out. Loved it. We didn't use their facilities but probably wouldn't be happy if we did since they are portable at this point. The only construction we saw was out on the main street about a block away. Will handle any size rig but I think it would be tough to get out of the water and electric only spots for a big rig. We would stay here again.
This is a great park. Only 50 amp and nothing else, but it was as advertised. Nicely kept and right on the lake. We were lucky enough to get a lake side spot so view was great but even further back seem to offer good views. They mention only 20/50amp but our site had 30amp as well. Would stay here again no problem.
This is a great park. The only amenities are garbage and the great views besides 50amp FHU. The only reason we don't give it a ten is the water pressure is terrible. I asked what pressure the lines were at and she said 45psi but I doubt it very much. All sites have views but their ad states all sites are within 20 ft of the water which is not true. There are a few sites (the one we stayed in for instance) that are behind another row of sites but they are tiered so you still have a nice view. We would definitely stay here again!
This was a very busy park, we stayed in an electric and water only the first two nights at $23 night and then full hookups with 50amp the last two nights. Neither site we had was on the lake but we still had nice views. Park staff was nice and it was very campground like which we enjoy. We don't use the restrooms so no comment on that. If we had any complaint it would be the campfires. The smoke is always drifting in to the motorhome but then again those who have fires have a right to them so no complaints.
Nice Park. We had full hookups and everything functioned as it should. We have a 43 ft motorhome and it was a little tough to maneuver into the spot but we did. Watch the low branches. I mentioned they were an issue and they said they have to have a arborist from the city (city owned park) come out and take care of it and that hasn't been working out well. Gee government red tape, shock! We didn't use the restrooms etc but from the looks of them they are older. Nightly fee included $5 permit fee.
