The sites here are cozy and protected. Great trees and the sun-shades on the picnic tables were a nice touch. Friendly staff and clean facilities plus a well stocked camp store completed the place. We really enjoyed the tasty, well priced, pancake breakfasts! They have recently installed a fenced pet exercise area: perfect for the dogs to enjoy running around a little without their leashes. We stayed multiple nights and really enjoyed it.
The park had an unprotected, somewhat desolate feeling. The trees were small and didn't provide much shade or coziness. This park was definitely more for RV's rather than tents or popups. The water, electric and tv were fine. The camp store had minimal items. The bathrooms were clean but did not supply hand soap. The staff could have been friendlier. Upon check-in we received a rather strict "rules" handout that did not make us feel welcome. We were planning on spending multiple nights here but checked out after one.
