Phipps Park is managed by the Martin County Parks and Recreation Department. And making a reservation was a little tough until I got the phone number. It is located along the Okeechobee waterway and has a 55 acres of conservation land and campgrounds. This was a true gem of a find. I rated it a 9 because it had no sewer hookups. However, it does have a free dump station on site. Tons of trails and a very nice family friendly quiet park. If you are a partying loud person this is not the place for you. Lots of shade available. Pet walks and nature trails on site. Almost every site has a water view. Lakes on one side and Okeechobee on the other. Every site has a fire ring and picnic table. You wont be disappointed.
The Spanish Main Rv Resort staff Leslie and Susan are fabulous and Facilities are wonderful. I would stay here again even if we didn't get the Military 50 percent off of the $33.00 a night which is already a good rate. A true home away from home!
