Nicest park we have ever stayed in. The good: Clean, very well taken care of. Great facilities. Pools are warm, clean, and the set-up is very inviting. Shower/bathrooms are immaculate. Large level sites. Friendly staff. Friendly residents. Lots to do within the park. Close to grocery shops/shopping/restaurants/etc. The bad: The WiFi could be stronger. We are here for 5 months and have been here for 10 days. Really looking forward to the rest of our stay. We would definitely come back!
The good: Level gravel sites, friendly staff, quiet, Camping World right next door. The bad: Very slow Wi-Fi, a distance from town. All in all we would stay here again only if there wasn't somewhere else available. Nightly rate is for three nights with Passport America 50% discount applied to the first two nights.
The good: Best Wi-Fi we've had in the last 9 months. Level concrete RV sites with room to park your tow/truck. Friendly staff. Laundry was reasonably priced and worked well. Quiet. Bus stop right outside the gate to take you to downtown. Close to shopping and restaurants. The bad: Nothing really stands out as bad. We would definitely stop here again if in the area.
All in all a good stay. The laundry room was clean and the machines worked well. Sites were level with gravel. Wi-Fi worked fairly well. Only noise was a train off in the distance during the night...but not loud enough to wake us up. We would stay here again.
What a disappointment. OK campground with level gravel sites, but very tight. No-one around to give us the Wi-Fi access code or turn the water on until after 5:30 in the evening. Wi-Fi was good and the owner was friendly. The worst part of our stay was that we were surrounded by hunters, which would be alright, except they were skinning their catch and hanging the carcasses off the picnic table shelters. And they were skinning the animals on the picnic tables. The owner was there and aware of this. Very disgusting to see and very unhygienic for the next person using that picnic table.
The good: Large level concrete spots. Very clean park and facilities. Quiet. The bad: Although the Wi-Fi signal was good it dropped us an average of 10 - 20 times per day. Sometimes just for a few seconds, sometimes for a few minutes. The convenience store and the restaurant were closed. The pool was closed, which is understandable for this time of year, but the hot tubs were also closed...we would have used them if they had been open. Laundry cards...you have to put a certain amount on them, even if you're not going to use it all...and there is no refund. We would stay here again, but would probably try out another park closer to Rapid City if given a choice.
Very welcoming staff escort you to your site. Sites are gravel, in the trees, and fairly level. Wi-Fi worked well: slow in the early evening, but I presume that's because a lot of people are using it then. We had 30 amp: not sure if they have 50. No sewer hook-ups, but a place to dump that's easy to get to. We walked our cats through the dog-walk area and there is a lot of old dog waste that needs to be picked up. A five minute drive from shops and restaurants. Nice and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.
Very basic campground, but great for overnight. 5 different loops...some have 20 amp some have 50. No water hook-up, but there are taps that provide potable water throughout the campground. Some picnic tables. No Wi-Fi. Personally we wouldn't want to stay here longer than a few days because of the no water and no sewer hook-ups, but a reasonably priced campground that's easy to get in to. Sites are gravel or brown dead grass. Some are level...some not so much. Very quiet.
A little difficult to find. Google maps shows the old entrance, which is now closed. Most uneven site we have ever parked in, although some of the neighboring ones looked much flatter. No WiFi. Pretty location very close to town, and a pleasant walk to the lake. Cost seemed high for what you receive.
$33.00 is the weekly rate divided by 7. Very nice campground, but a good 10 - 15 minute drive west of Saskatoon. Large pull-through sites. Well cared for grounds. Nice children's playground. WiFi was quite slow and a bit unreliable.
Reasonable campground for the price. No WiFi. Road was rutted and a bit narrow getting in, but the site was a good size. All dirt sites with trees. Woman who checked us in was friendly. Short drive to shops. Fairly quiet.
Older park. Main roads were ok, but the side ones with some of the smaller sites were very tight and bumpy. Our site was not level, and it looked like a lot of the other sites were the same. Seemed very expensive for what you get. But the WiFi was the best we've had on our four-month trip.
Sites are a little tight. Sites are gravel. Friendly, accommodating owner. Weekly rate is $170.00, which gives $24.29 per night. Laundry worked but only one washer and one dryer. Wi-Fi quite slow and dropped us fairly regularly. Lovely view from front of park. Good access to town.
Nice quiet park, but the sites are quite tight...and because they're so short they allow people to park their trucks on the road. Makes it very tight to get in and out of your spot. Very nice camp hosts. Unlike the previous reviewer we found the Wi-Fi to be very slow and unreliable and we were parked near the office where the Wi-Fi originates. Good rates for golf if you stay in the RV park, and they have some really good specials. Stay on your birthday and you get a free round.
A large field with grass sites. Very rough but useable. The Wi-Fi was very slow and stopped working periodically. We didn't use or see the showers or restrooms, but the whole park is very run-down. Easy walk to downtown. Friendly manager.
The good: Wi-Fi, cable channels, laundry...clean and inexpensive, level site, good rate with Passport America $17.00...$27.00 with Good Sam. The bad - not a pretty park. Really good deal if you golf. If you want the golf discount you have to pay the $27.00 with the Good Sam discount and then one person is $15.00 for 18 holes walking and $30.00 for 18 holes with a power cart. Monthly rate for site and golf for two with a power cart is $710.00...amazing deal.
Nightly rate is Passport America. Stayed for one night. Site was grass and gravel...pretty level. Lots of trees...some of the branches were so low you couldn't avoid having them hit the roof and sides of the RV. Park seemed well kept. Pool was open but freezing cold.
What a deal. We stayed the week so the 7th night is free. $49.50 per night but dividing the 6 nights by 7 comes out to $42.43 per night and that included two rounds of golf per day on a really nice course. You have to pay for the electric cart rental...but still. Nice pool...very clean park...nicely kept. Would definitely stay here again.
Everything was ok. WiFi worked very well...we asked for spot near the hotspot. Pretty campground on a river. Swimming hole in river...too cold for us. Seemed expensive...but I guess they don't have a lot of competition. Site was mostly level...just dirt and gravel.
Loved it!!! Yes, arriving on a Saturday was frustrating because the office was closed and you only get two hours of WiFi until Monday when the office opens...and yes, the laundry card was a bit frustrating...but...loved it!!! The pool is amazing. The four hot-tubs are lovely. The pool area is very nice. Wonderfully friendly people. Well-kept park. Site was average...but it had all the hook-ups and they all worked. More important for us was the pool area and the people. Will most definitely be back!!!
We really liked this park. Very easy sites...mostly pull throughs. Pool was clean...unfortunately it's an indoor pool...which I suppose would be good earlier in the year, but it was over 30 while we were there, so an outdoor pool would have been nice. Very clean. Good laundry. Friendly people. Wi-Fi is included...a bit slow, but not bad. We would definitely stay here again.
Liars...front page of their website said you can stay for 4 nights for $45.00...and when we talked to them they said it wasn't good until October. No dates on their website...very misleading. Average park. Terrible check-in...no-one seemed to know what they were doing. Sent us back and forth from the office to the security booth six times. Sites old, sandy/gravel, quite uneven with badly broken concrete pad. They charge for Wi-Fi so we used our Verizon hotspot. TV was OK. We paid $25.00 through Passport America. Worst camp we have ever been in...will not be back.
