This RV park is really a camping resort. The sites were large and level. There was a lots of things for the kids to do. We enjoyed the fishing at their pond that was well stocked. The host were friendly and helpful. Our family will camp here again.
Campground has been completely renovated with new pads, water, and electric boxes. The sites are surrounded by many trees, and the sites are laid out so you aren't looking into someone's campsite. All the campsites had grills, picnic tables, and a fire ring. The park is well maintained with walking trails, a new swimming pool, and the diamond field to dig for diamonds. The walking trail we took was even handicap accessible. We plan to camp here again in the summer.
Back in 2003 we camped at Fun Valley and loved it. We always wanted to return, but we heard the park had run down. This year we decided to go back and we were glad we did. The resort was in great shape and wonderful. Our ten year old daughter never dreamed that Fun Valley had so many things to do. It's nice to go to a place that still has family values and doesn't stick you with high prices. This place will be a annual summer time stop for my family.
This was the first campground we stayed in with our new camper. The sites were wide and level with full hookups. The park was clean and looked new. The location was good for shopping. They also had a dog park for our pet. We heard it's now a Jellystone park and will be putting in a water park . We will return so our daughter can do all the activities that a Yogi Bear park has.
This was our 3rd time we stayed here. This time we brought our dog and stayed in the park loop. They have a fenced dog park which was great. All the sites were will maintained. The only complaint is that the bus service to the parks were very slow. We drove to the parks which was much faster. Other than that what can I say this is Disney. Every thing in the campground was top notch.
We camped here for four nights and enjoyed the Red River running by our camp site. I had read some reviews about the staff being rude, but found the office staff friendly and that the attendants cared about their resort. I would have rated the park higher except for the bears. They would raid the dumpsters every night at 1:00am and then roam the camp sites. I know this is camping but being in tent trailer with bears walking under your bunk is a little scary. They need to move their dumpsters away from the camp sites to the back of the park.
This is a very nice campground. It was the first campground we stayed at that had beach access. It's pet friendly, kid friendly and the staff was great. In the winter months they convert their pool into an indoor facility. The park had a great location, and was very quiet. This is a great place to camp in the spring. The site fees are high, but, we will return in the near future.
