I called and made reservations for 2 nights. The lady assured me we would fit. We are a 40 ft RV. We got there and found we would not fit. There were to many huge trees with branches hanging down. The space she reserved for us was not long enough and we would have been in the road. The street was very narrow and went down a steep slope. This place would be ok for a small 5th wheel or travel trailer 30'. The next day she told me there was camping about 14 blocks down Horton at the fair grounds.
Camped here in a 40 ft RV. There are no discounts for 50 amp. 30 amp offers a $2.00 discount. Fair amount of space in between sites. Gravel sites are pull-through and level and will accommodate 40 ft plus a tow car, and there is still room. We didn't use the bathrooms/showers. We were parked right across from the Farmers Market handy to buy veggies and baked goods and Flea Market on Saturday. Its open M-Sat. We felt very safe here. Its a really nice part of town. Close to shopping and food. Make reservations, because it fills up fast. We would come again. Its not a destination park, but it's great if you are going to see the local sights.
This is an awesome country RV Park. Lots of large trees, green grass. Perfect place for a rally. Everything about this place is fresh and clean. Friendly owner and staff. Price reflects Passport America 50% off for two nights. Would love to come back and stay a couple weeks and enjoy the blue grass music they have on Friday night.
We totally enjoyed staying here. A small town country feeling. Trees and green grass. Friendly owner very attentive. Price reflects Passport America using 50 amp. Quiet and peaceful just what we needed after driving 3 full days. Definitely would stay here again in our 40 foot RV. Owner stated starting in 2015 rates will be a flat $25.00 a night (no discounts) except Passport America and those prices will be $15.00 30amp/w/s $18.00 50amp/w/s.
Park is right off the interstate. Rate cited was for electric/water site and reflects an Escapee 15% discount. Very nice restroom, very clean. Laundry was very clean as well. 4 washers $1.50, 6 dryers $1.25 for 30 minutes. Sites are gravel and close together. Park was pretty full and a lot of local employees live here. Great for a few nights when passing through. We would stay here again. Puppy Park, Playground, Rally Room, Mini Golf Course LP Horseshoes and BBQ Pavilion. Staff was GREAT. They even offered to take us to town to pick up our dinner so we wouldn't have to unhook our toad. Looks like this was a KOA at one time.
Rate cited is based on a monthly rate of $450.00. Large laundromat/office. Great park. Lots of room between sites. Beautiful view of mountains and lake. Clean restrooms and showers. Friendly staff. Lots of information of where to look for different animals in Yellowstone NP. 14 miles from West Yellowstone and west entrance to park. Very reasonable price compared to price in West Yellowstone. Very quiet, considering its on Hwy 20. We would come back in a heartbeat. I gave it an 8 since it didn't have any thing to do at park but who cares when you spend your days at Yellowstone.
Really nice place to stay while visiting the area. Not a destination resort. Very well kept nice pull-through sites as well as back-ins. Clean and well run. Very nice laundry room. Yes, the airplanes are loud but its the sound of freedom. It's an Air Force base. We stay here whenever we are in this area and have always been satisfied. Its best to make a reservation as its a busy RV park. We would stay here again.
This is a rustic older campground. The sites are very close together. We are 40 ft and we fit. The wi-fi works. Verizon works well here. Our satellite TV worked well here. No local TV. There are trees. Lots of red sand. There is a creek. There is a play area for children. There is a laundry room. There is a very large area for dry camping. Lots of room for ATV's. Personnel were very friendly and helpful. Lots of sites for tents and small campers. They offer up to 3 nights free for military active duty or retired. We would stay here again. We spent most days sightseeing so didn't need a resort setting.
No-frills RV Park. The RV park is behind the Shell Service Station. You will register inside the station and staff is friendly. There is a small grocery store/ motorhome supplies and a Mexican grill inside. Great for sightseeing. A very reasonable price $25.00 less $2.00 Good Sam discount. Gravel, some grass and trees. There is a picnic area with tables and it’s grassy. A small children’s play area. A reasonably priced laundry room, $1.50 to wash and $.25 to dry for 8 minutes. Good local TV reception. Verizon works well here. They have Wi-Fi and it works OK until a lot of people get on at the same time. It's quiet here. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed 4 nights. The price was for a Passport America Member. It's an old park. Staff was friendly. There were not many people there as it is past the winter season. The flies were horrible. Not sure where they were coming from, but you had to stay in the RV. We were gone most of the time, so it as fine for us. It beat paying $40.00 to stay along I-8.
We stayed here one month on a lake view site at $684.00 plus electric at 12.9 cents. They have installed a free dog wash station. They provided turkeys, ham, dressing and gravy for a pot luck Thanksgiving dinner. Great staff.
The key word here is LOCATION, Location, Location. This park is close to the medical center. There are quite a few people staying here that are receiving medical treatments. There are also quite a few laborers. It’s quite expensive unless you stay a month. Long term stays require you to pay electric. We stay here because it’s convenient to the medical center and family. There are other parks but they necessitate a drive in horrendous traffic. Staff is friendly and accommodating. It’s a no nonsense park. Lots of nice amenities. We would stay again. The traffic and train noise can be irritating but bearable.
Rate based on a weekly rate of $100.00. The staff was very helpful. Bathrooms are old and need refurbishing but adequate. Laundry was adequate as well. If you are here to sightsee, then this is the place to stay. There are quite a few permanent people. It was quiet and we would definitely stay again.
The address for the Center is 3805 State Hwy 27 East Kerrville,TX . Reservations can be made by calling the above phone number. The office to make payment at is in the courthouse in Kerrville at the corner of RT16 (Sidney Baker) and Rt27 (Main Street). 700 Main Street Ste 101. This is their fairgrounds so be aware it’s like camping at a fairground. We had 30 AMP and Water hook up. It was pleasant, quiet and close to the city of Kerrville. For $10.00 a night you can’t go wrong. We would definitely camp their again.
All prior comments apply. Weekly rate $90.00. Wonderful RV park. Definitely call ahead for reservations. There was only 2 places available when I called. Would definitely stay again. Staff were very helpful.
We called in am and were told they had spaces. When we arrived at noon they had 2 spaces. The park is full of mine workers. I would definitely call before stopping. All other comments apply. We are PA and paid cash. We would stop here again
