The owners and work campers were friendly and very helpful. They even opened the game room especially for my husband (we had arrived a little late...) Every picnic table has a flowering pot of marigolds and that was such a nice touch.
We loved this RV Park the most of all seven different ones we stayed at on our trip from Ohio to Nevada. We called the night before the Friday of Labor Day weekend and the owner's told us they were full, but would put us in the overflow area for only $20. The site was excellent and we loved hearing the Grand Canyon Railroad whistle as the train pulled in. The owner actually ran an electric line and a cable line (but we had our own Dish Network) and we felt so welcome our entire stay of two nights. They had a Chuckwagon BBQ with a cowboy singer and a Rodeo movie that was just the most fun. We liked the friendliness of not only those that worked here, but the other campers who had been here before. There was a Rodeo and Labor Day Parade, and it was truly a wonderful experience on our first visit to the Grand Canyon. The owner and his wife helped us plan our itinerary and included discount tickets to not only the Rodeo but other attractions. We even went to a ranch and saw White Buffalo. Hopefully, when I retire in 6 years we will return and spend more time.
