Campground is located just off I-30, but trees block any noise. The owner was helpful and escorted us to our site--a long pull through which was level. There is a nice pavilion overlooking the large pond. Only cash or checks are accepted. As it is convenient to I-30, and we would stop here again.
The rate reflects a discount for cash or check. This is a very nice campground located in a scenic area. Our site was in the back part of the campground. The sites are longer in this area. Entrance and exit were easy. Because the campground is located on the east side of Eureka Springs you miss the treacherous steep curves that you encounter on the west side of Eureka Springs. Laundry and restrooms were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay here again.
This is an excellent campground located south of Branson, out of the high traffic area. Staff is great. We had a pull-through with a concrete slab. Someone escorts you to your site. They do provide shuttle service to shows but the trip into town is easy. We had no trouble getting our rig in or out of the campground. Rate is for Passport America. We will stay here again. Wi-Fi was good.
This is an excellent campground--very clean, quiet, long, level sites, and great hosts. We had a wide back-in site with a river view. The owner guided us into the site. Facilities were well maintained. We will camp here again should we be in the area.
All sites are concrete and roads asphalt. We had a great pull through site with a view of the lake. The park is new and adding landscaping. Sites are level and easy in and out. WiFi was good. This is one of the nicest parks that we have encountered. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is close enough to most attractions without being in a congested area.
We stop here whenever in the Shreveport area. Friendly, helpful staff and nice pull through sites that are easy to level. Grounds are clean and attractive. Dog park is one of the best we have encountered in our travels. We also stayed here in May on our way home
Rated this park so low because we had reservations but when we arrived were told they had overbooked and were full. While the park looked acceptable, and the owners were very apologetic, we feel that they should have at least notified us ahead of time. They did call another campground 10 miles closer to Montgomery, and fortunately, they had a site to accommodate us.
This is a very clean park with long, level gravel sites. Entrance and exit are easy: a great choice for overnight or when touring the area. Staff is friendly. There is an interesting petrified wood display near the office.
Our site, 41, was long enough for our 40 foot 5th wheel and was easily accessed. Some other sites might difficult for large units because of trees. Staff was friendly. The shuttle picks you up at the entrance of the campground. We'll always stay here whenever visiting Grand Canyon.
Our site, 125, was long and easy to level. Staff was friendly. The campground is being enlarged so there was a lot of dust in the air. Although pricey, this seems to be the best campground in the area. The Bryce Canyon Shuttle makes a stop here which makes it convenient to tour Bryce Canyon. We stayed a week in order to tour the other scenic spots in the area.
Friendly, helpful staff, nicely landscaped grounds, with a nice patio and a fenced, grassy dog area make this a good RV park. Some sites are tight. We had a back-in because no pull-throughs were available. With lots of help, we got our big 5th wheel in site 14 which turned out to be one of the best sites in the park. Restrooms and laundry were very clean but only 2 washers and 1 dryer are available. Kanab is an interesting small town and is great for visiting Zion, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, north rim of the Grand Canyon and Coral Pink Sands State Park.
This is a wonderful park: paved roads and sites, friendly staff, excellent hook-ups. We had a pull through in Loop B which was great with plenty of privacy. Some of the side by side sites in other loops didn't have as much room. Laundry was clean and much cheaper than some other campgrounds. It did lack a rack to hang clothes as you take them out of the dryer. The lake is beautiful. We took one of the tours which was enjoyable. We also stayed here in June on our way back from Bryce Canyon.
The views from this campground are awesome. Roads paved but sites are dirt which wasn't a problem because it hadn't rained in some time. Our pull-through was adequate for our 40 foot 5th wheel with easy entrance and exit. Be sure to take a tour of Monument Valley. Staff is friendly and helpful.
This is a clean, attractive park with friendly staff. Our gravel pull-thru site was a little tight but our escort led us in so parking was not a problem. Water and electric hookups were fine. Fenced dog area is nice. We had some shade. We would stay here again.
We found the park to be clean and staff friendly. Paved roads and sites are wide enough for easy in and out. Our site, 79, was easy to navigate with our 40 foot 5th wheel. Some of the other sites might not be as easy for large units. Signs need to be improved. As we pulled into the park, we were lucky enough to meet a resident who told us how to get to the office. Only cash or check accepted. We would stay here again.
This is a great park with level concrete sites. We had no problems negotiating the roads with our 40 foot 5th wheel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The park is well maintained. Restrooms and laundry are very clean. Whenever in the area, we will stay here.
Good, level sites on a concrete pad with patio. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean, and there is a nice dog area. We stayed here again in June on our way home and will always stay here when stopping in Shreveport.
This park rates a 10 for the scenery, trees, lake, nice walking and biking trails. While we had a nice, long pull through site, many of the back in sites looked to be rather short. As sites are assigned on a first come basis, you have no way of knowing which site you will get. Even so, we would camp here again for the scenery.
This is a well maintained park with long concrete pads. There are small patches of grass between the sites. We had a pull through site. Laundry, showers and restrooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Although highway 135 is undergoing construction, access to the park is easy to negotiate. Our rate of $16.50 is the Passport America rate and is a great bargain for such a nice campground. Some trees have been planted but do not provide shade yet. The porch rocking chairs provide a pleasant view of the golf course.
What a wonderful park! Roads and sites are paved with grassy areas between sites, and the staff is great. We had a shady site right across from the stream. We were here over the July 4th weekend: there was also a camping group here, but the staff kept everything neat and clean. Restrooms and laundry are very clean. While close to I-20, the road noise is not a problem.
This campground was a pleasant surprise. Staff is very friendly, gravel sites are long and fairly level, and it is right off Interstate 20. The dog area is grassy and fenced in. Traffic noise was not a problem. We'll stay here again.
We stayed overnight in this campground. It has long, fairly level gravel sites and is neat and clean. It is close to the highway, but noise is not a problem. The staff was friendly. We would stay here again.
This a a nice park with good paved roads and sites. The park is convenient to Wal-Mart and other stores. While there is no shade, it is a very clean park and there is a view of the mountains. We would stay here again when passing through the area.
Rate reflects Good Sam discount and the weekly rate. This is a beautiful park that is kept very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restroom and laundry are clean. The dog park is great: a large meadow. Our site #70, was one of the best in the park. It was the last site in the row, had a shady, grassy area, and a dramatic view of the mountains. Other nice sites are the "letter" sites but they have very little shade. We would definitely stay here again.
This was a great park with long, level sites. The entrance is concrete and the roads and sites are gravel. The riverfront sites are the nicest, but everyone has access to the river. The owners are friendly and are constantly working to keep things clean and attractive. Restrooms and laundry are very clean. We would stay here again if in the Chama area.
We had a nice, shady, secluded site in the back of the campground which was much quieter than sites located next to the highway. As others have stated, the bus stop is next to the campground which makes it very convenient for no parking hassle when visiting downtown. Shopping mall is close to the campground as well as grocery stores and gas stations. The rate reflects Good Sam discount and 1 free day with a week's stay. We will stay here whenever in Santa Fe. Make your reservations ahead of time as the park was full for most of our stay.
This is a clean, quiet park with long, level sites. The laundry and restrooms are excellent. Electrical voltage was good despite the 100 degree temperature. Staff is friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. The Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge is nearby and is very interesting.
This seems to be the best campground in the Fort Stockton area. Desert landscaping helps to alleviate the bareness of the area. A nice sitting area near the pool provides welcome shade. The campground and restrooms are clean, and the staff was friendly. Sites and roads were gravel. We would stay here again if in the area.
Level concrete sites, grassy areas, river front sites, some shade, wide roads all contribute to a great park. The staff is friendly and the grounds are very well maintained. Many things to do and see in the area. Although close to Interstate 10, traffic noise was not a problem. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.
This is a great park for rest and relaxation. Has lots of shade, walking paths, and level pull-through sites. The sites are well laid out providing privacy. The wildlife viewing is great. Deer graze near your site. We'll stay here again when in the area.
The owners are very friendly, helpful and are constantly working to upgrade the park. Concrete patios are being extended. We had a nice pull through site with ample room. Restrooms were very clean. The laundry room needs some attention as it was not as clean as the restroom. The road leading to the campground is narrow with several dumpy looking homes, but the campground itself is neat and tidy. We will use this campground whenever we are in the area.
This is an excellent park with beach access. Some sites are a little tight, but overall are adequate. Wi-Fi is rather expensive, but signal is generally good in the beach area. Laundry has many machines. We camp here every October as my husband enjoys the surf fishing. Convenient to shopping centers and grocery stores. We will definitely return. The rate reflects one free night for every paid six nights.
This is our favorite campground in the Meridian area--easily accessed from Interstate 20, very clean, quiet, level concrete pads, and friendly, helpful staff. While there is no recreation for children, it is an excellent choice for adults. The rate reflects Passport America rates and it is a great bargain.
The pull-thru sites that we always use are wide and long enough and are fairly level. Roads and sites are gravel. The campgrounds caters to families and has much to offer during the summer--planned activities, swimming pool and water zone, pond, nature trails. We like to take our grandchildren here for a few days each summer. The staff is friendly and helpful.
This is the best campground in the South Toledo Bend area. Asphalt roads and sites are in good condition. We always get one of the premium sites that has a waterfront view. Sites are spacious. Some sites have a drop off that makes it a little hard to navigate for those of us with bad knees. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a swimming beach, a boat launch, and good hiking trails. The campground is well maintained. The only drawback is the lack of sewer hookups, but we would not stay at any of the other campgrounds in the area. Our rate reflects the Golden Age Pass discount.
This was our first trip to Bay Saint Louis since hurricane Katrina wiped out much of the area. Formerly Casino Magic, the Hollywood Casino has rebuilt in the same spot. While many of the beautiful old trees did not survive, the campground is still very attractive. Roads are paved, and we had a nice concrete pull-thru. Shuttle buses run frequently to take you to the casino. Even if you don't like to gamble, the buffet was great. The entire area is making a giant effort to rebuild and should be congratulated on the progress they have made.
This campground is excellent--paved roads, concrete pads, lots of space between sites, covered picnic tables. Our site even had a swing. We were there overnight, so we didn't have time to check out the fishing in the lake.
We stop at this campground whenever we are in the area. Our pull through was long and level with a good view of the river. There is a small chapel located in a grove of trees. Swings and a walking path are a nice feature in this area. There is also a river walk path. The grounds are landscaped and well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful.
We camped in a pull through in the new section. Roads are limestone and well maintained. Our site was long and level with a concrete patio, but rather narrow. Trash was picked up at the site and the grounds were well maintained. Sites in the older section looked tight. We didn't use Wi-Fi as it was $5.95 per day.
Our site (H46] was level and adequate in width and length. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi connection was good. The pet walk was nice with a trash can provided to dispose of waste. We would stay here again.
This is a nice, new park off Interstate 95. Roads are excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our site was paved. There are several gazebos in the park which provide nice places to relax in the shade as the trees are not big enough to provide shade. This is a great overnight stop.
Although the annual rental sites appear to be very congested, we had a great site overlooking the water [site 68]. It was very spacious. They do not take reservations over the phone because they do not take credit cards. The gravel roads had pot holes but they were grading them as we left so that may have solved the problem. We would camp here again.
Our site was fairly level with a view of Indian River inlet. The campground was clean and quiet. There is a sidewalk leading to the Atlantic Ocean and the beach. Bridge construction next to the campground was not a problem. If you entering the campground from the south, watch carefully for the park entrance sign as it is easy to miss.
We had an awesome waterfront site. The view of Chesapeake Bay was breathtaking. Our site required minimal leveling and was of ample size. Our only problem was low electrical voltage, but we ran our water heater on propane and used the furnace instead of the heat strip. I don't know if other sites had this problem, but the view makes up for the slight inconvenience. The staff was friendly. Wi-Fi is not available at the site but is available in several different places in the campground.
We had a nice long, fairly level shaded pull through site. The Wi-Fi was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. Although a little distance from Fredericksburg, the campground is a good base for touring the area. We would stay here again.
We camped here during the Apple Blossom Festival thus the higher rate. We had a nice concrete site with ample room. However, some of the other sites seemed to be closer together. Someone led us to our site and was helpful in getting us into the site. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
The campground is spread out. Our site was at the top of the hill overlooking the lake and was very scenic. Some of the sites further down the street seemed a little tight, but ours was satisfactory. The roads were part paved and part gravel and could use some work. We would stay here again.
Our site was of an adequate size and required minimal leveling. However the area around the site was rather hard to navigate because of tree roots and uneven ground. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Internet connection was good. We would stay here again if in the area.
Because there are many permanent campers, there are not many sites available, so make reservations ahead of time. This is a clean, neat park. The owners are friendly and helpful. There are no bathrooms. There was ample room for our slides.
We had a nice, shaded pull through [site 74] which required minimal leveling. Avoid site 62 if you have slides as it is narrow. Rate reflects senior discount. We would certainly stay here again when in this area.
