My husband and I stayed at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in West Yellowstone for ten days. We stayed in a Premium Pull-Through site for sixty dollars a day in our fifth-wheel. Site was beautiful, 70 feet long and location was great next to a National Forest. Grizzly is all most on the steps of Yellowstone National Park. We had our dog and leaving her was a worry knowing our time would be spent in Yellowstone. The even supplied waste bags for your dogs. The only complaint had nothing to do with the park is grocery stores in the town were small, but we ate out a lot. They have a gift shop which also carries some grocery in a pinch. Ordered pizza the first night and they delivered into the park. We will stay here again.
Location, Location as I say. The Blue Ridge Parkway is maybe if that one mile down from Taps. Downtown Asheville is a straight shoot down one road, you can not get lost. Biltmore is five miles off I40. There are a grocery store and a WalMart just down the road as well. We stayed at Taps RV park one week in a 50 amp pull through site which is in the middle of the park. For the money you can not beat it. You have the river behind the back-end sites which are 30amp. Our site leveled concrete with extra gravel to the right, so your feet do not step in mud when it rains, which it did one day. Cable was excellent, and internet was very good. A family owned RV park. The staff was helpful with any needs or help. Taps does not list washer and dryer, but has one on site. We plan to come back for a winter stay.
