This is an old park in a rundown neighborhood. You can hear gunshots at night. The manager is very abusive and likes to flash his handgun, threatening, and downright mean. He likes to brag about how much money he has. He keeps folks deposits when he shouldn't.. There is a big problem with anything left in your yard getting stolen since the park refuses to install a gate. Many of the mobile homes are empty and abandoned. The laundry is run down, the pool has been deemed unsafe by the city. No WiFi or cable. No services except a small area for your dog to be loose. . The RV sites are small and the roads are narrow. I only stayed here because other parks were full. I worked nights and slept during the day and there was loud loud construction of a school next door with diesel smoke from trucks and equipment and very noisy, Constant noise from sirens and traffic. I stayed 5 months.
RV Park is set back away from traffic, very very quiet, sites are spacious, cable with zillion channels, long termers are nice, water front sites are for overnites in summer, but river view still there for other sites inside rows. Staff are excellent, Joy in particular!! Pool is nice, marinas on the river, with boat rentals and cabin rentals. I had a problem with a work contract there in Chatanooga and the manager was gracious enough to give me a refund, they didn't have to do that, but they did. Sure the geese are around but all you have to do is hose down your site, they stay on the river and come ashore to walk around. Some of the sites don't yet have the new cable connections in but the staff are in the process of completing this. All in all its a great place with mountains on each side of the marina, so cell coverage is scanty, but I had no problem with their WIFI and I was pretty far back, its an issue they try to work on constantly. I definitely will try to come back just to relax!!
I stayed here a while back and it was a great place; shady, quiet, hilly, and sites along a small stream. The owner is awesome, very helpful. Price is great, and it's about 2 miles from the I-40 exit but worth the drive. Restaurants and Knoxville are very close.
