There are many pull through sites, but it is like camping on a large gravel lot with poor views. The older side is small and difficult for a big rig, and there only 30 amp is available. The park is very noisy as there is some kind of industrial equipment that makes a very large whooshing noise 24/7. Amenities are very basic, but the price is good and it could not be any more secure.
Justin's has a real "in the desert" feel. It directly borders a 50,000 acre park with trails immediately available. The sites are large and level. The roads are paved, the sites gravel. There are no showers or restroom or pool, but there is full hookup and a laundry. It is very quiet as you are far from town. The views of the mountains are beautiful. Park in the back for best mountain views. There is a skeet shooting operation near enough that you can hear some faint popping, but it never bothers us. During February, it is very busy as there is a convention that month. Nothing very near (probably 8 miles for shopping), but the drive back and forth is gorgeous. Very near Saguaro National Park, Tucson Mountain Park, Old Tucson and the Desert Museum. This is our fourth winter here, and we love it. Regularly planned activities from October to April. Owners very nice. Rate based on month. They only accept cash or check.
