Most of the sites are privately owned. Some are very large while others are not very big. The grounds are very well kept and there is a excellent restaurant on the property. It is close to the main bridge you cross to get on the island, which avoids traffic circles in your RV. Great long weekend getaway spot.

This is an older campground and most of the sites are rather tight. We stayed here for 2 1/2 months and had a lake front site. The view of the lake is blocked by bushes that accumulate trash when the tide is up. (Not very pretty.) There is a lot of activity here and it is located just beside a long paved trail for jogging and biking. It is a good weekend getaway, but I doubt we will be back due to the cost.

This is the worst RV Park I have ever seen. The "Host" sleeps in a old trailer that has seen better days. His junk car is on cinder blocks. If you make an advance reservation and then decide you do not want to stay here when you arrive (which will probably be the case), then they bring out the "48 hour cancellation policy". I suggest you avoid this trap at all costs.

Wi-Fi is now FREE here. Nice, clean campground run by a family with a family attitude. Located on Boyd's Creek, it is convenient to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg via the back roads. GREAT PARK!

This place is nice. It is well off the highway so there is a lot of quiet. It has a good 9 hole golf course that is reasonably priced. On the negative side, the roads have a lot of potholes even though they are paved. They are too narrow as well. The wifi is expensive and not very fast. The people working the front desk were confused and complained a lot. We had to wait for 30 minutes while they checked in two rigs ahead of us. Apparently, the corporate headquarters can re-arrange reservations which causes the on-site folks a lot of grief and creates a lot of customer complaints.

We stayed at this park last summer. As we arrived we noticed a strong sewer smell in the air. A girl that worked here said there is a sewage treatment plant nearby and it gets rank, especially in the summer. It was not so bad once we got back in the park, but it never went completely away. The sites are all grass/gravel and somewhat level. The sites are laid out to share power posts. They moved in a big rig with a long trailer that was right in our front door. That was not very good. The Wi-Fi is very limited even though the lady that owns the park said it was recently installed new. My sniffer found about 30% of the grounds have a good signal. The property is located VERY NEAR the Interstate. There is only a row of trees to deaden the sound. Every time a big truck hit the rumble strip along the edge of the road it could be heard all through the park. The property is clean and neat but I suggest you plan no more than one night here as a rest stop to your travels.
