All the past reviews are correct. Beautiful park setting. Daytime road noise was tolerable but the train noise at night was too much. Train traffic has increased in the past year. Not sure if one could get accustomed to it over a longer period but I would still come back for a short stay.

This is a very well run campground that can handle everything from tents to large motorhomes. The owners go out of their way to accommodate everyone from over night to long term campers. Lots of activities for every age & the campers are very friendly. Yes, the rules are enforced but this is not a bad thing. Wi-Fi is excellent, the pool is great, cable is available & all sites have full hookups. Sites have partial shade so satellite worked fine. Close to shopping centers & public transportation is within walking distance. The fishing is great too & canoe rentals are available. We will be back.

This is one of the nicest New York State campgrounds we have ever visited. The owners are very friendly, always on site and greeted us on arrival. This is a beautiful campground with large serviced sites and the playgrounds and pool are fantastic. There is a good balance between permanent, seasonal and transient campers and we really enjoyed biking through the campground every day of our stay. We hope to return soon.

It took a little while to find but was well worth the trip. The owners were extremely friendly & stopped to ask how things were going each day. The sites were amazingly large, well kept & hook ups were well placed. We enjoyed our stay & are planning to return often.

This little campground is a real "gem on the Rideau Canal System" on Sand Lake. Quiet, family camping at it's best. The owners are always on site & although we were only there for the weekend they included us in all the activities, even a free BBQ.

Yes I have read all the reviews about Bluewater Key RV Resort and I was impressed, at first. The staff was friendly, the site was spectacular and the first weekend was great. Although we had paid $130.00 per night, we thought we were really going to enjoy this place. Then came Monday morning. It was like camping on Main Street at home. First came the FedEx Truck, then UPS, then local trades people, then more trucks, more trades people & more trucks. Also it seemed that every site in the resort, in addition to a 45 foot Motor home, came with at least two cars, two golf carts & three motor cycles & each one in turn had to be exercised every hour. Then came the Navy jets taking off from the local Naval station just down the highway. Every 15 minutes four jets would play chase using Bluewater Key as a point of reference. All this would go on from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every week day. The only way to get a rest from all this activity was to visit Key West, but that would only take 2 days at the most. We left early to go home and get some rest.
