Gravel roads, grassy sites. Playground equipment for kids, covered pavilion, Clean laundry. Huge sites approximately 40'x75'. Plenty of elbow room and grass for our dog. Owners have their home on site. We will stay here again.
No frills, great site to visit Victoria or just passing through. Small but plenty of room. Lots of wooded areas around. Plenty of grass for dog walking. We saw about 15 deer just before dark. They were still around the next morning as we walked. We will definitely stay here again.
Easy stop right on loop around Nacogdoches, US59. Easy in and out. Restrooms looked nice, but they were locked. I am sure they could be opened if necessary. Coin laundry was neat and clean. Sites are good sized with good hookups. Plenty of grass for dog walking. We will stay again.
We like this park, but last time we were here the short trees at each site made it impossible to drive into our site without scraping both sides. I was told then that they were in the process of trimming them. Now we are back again several months later and same thing. The attendant said again that they are in the process of trimming them. No credit cards, checks or cash only. I am sorry, but we will not return. We really would like to be able to give a better review, but our 42 foot motorhome does not work here.
I gave this park a high rating because the sites are all concrete with patio pad attached. The roads are asphalt and in excellent condition. The Wi-Fi works great. The park is neat and well maintained. A previous reviewer complained about the water hookup being inside a meter box. It freezes up here in the winter and the water pipes must be protected. I simply used my extra hose to connect to the hose bib in the meter box and connected my pressure regulator to it, simple. Hosts are friendly. This park is great if you need to be in Tulsa. We will definitely stay here again if we need to be in the area.
Very clean, neat and well maintained park. They separate the full timers and RVs very well. Convenient, in town location. I would have given a 10, but our Passport did not work here. They do honor CampClubUSA though. We would stay here again.
Great Oasis in the desert. Nice grass patio at each site. Long, and I mean long pull-through sites. Friendly and helpful management. Convenient to Moab. We will stay here again. Rate was Passport, excellent value.
Nice little park. NO frills, a good value for the price, we used Passport rate. It is about 5 miles West of Pagosa, but in summer, the in town parks fill up fast and are high dollar. Management is friendly and helpful. WiFi was OK. We would stay here again.
Very nice park. The only one in Angel Fire. I would have given a higher rating but the owners were vague about pricing. They offer a 25% discount for Escapees, but when we asked the price of a site, they said it depends. We never did get a straight answer. But we figured out that if you drive a large Class A motorhome, your price will be the top rate of $40. We did get the Escapees rate off the top rate. Nice open area behind the park for giving your dog a workout. We will stay here again. 30 amp is fine, as you probably will not need AC because of the elevation.
Mr. Grizzly has cleaned and made this little park nice. He only has 3 long pull-through sites, but has plenty of back in sites. Grizzly and his son are super nice and accommodating. The included 50 amp service is new. We did have an open ground on one of them, but he assured me that his electrician will have it fixed asap. Quite a few full-timers as has been previously noted, but they are neat and clean. A nice grassy area across from the pull-through sites gave us a great spot to exercise our Golden Retriever. We will stop here again.
This park is a 10 for us. Paved roads with gravel sites. Utility access is in a cement pad and it all works. Picnic tables and long pull throughs. Across the street is a county park with miles of paved walking or bike riding trails. Just perfect for us to start our day. We will be back as this park is just about a days travel for our home.
This was our second stay here. The first time we were evacuating from Hurricane Katrina. This time we were here on business and the weather turned cold. It snowed several inches and we lost power. It was not a problem because of our generator. Actually quite an adventure. The maintenance people quickly removed downed trees and limbs and made the park serviceable. The pull through sites are a bit tight for a 42' motorhome, but very workable. Probably too many trees for satellite reception, over the air had several channels. Beautiful park, we will stay here again.
We would have given this park a much higher rating except that the TACO rate was listed at $20 and we were charged $25 plus $4 for 50 amp. No discounts and no credit cards. We feel this is a bit steep for overnight and excessive for 50 amp in the winter with no ac use. Since this is not a destination park and there are many full timers here and the areas around them a bit junky, we probably will not stop here in the future.
The Lakeview RV Park is new with concrete streets and pads. It has a large recreation room with computer area and Wi-Fi throughout the park. Free popcorn, exercise area, hot tub and swimming pool. The shuttle to the Medical Center is also available here. A loop around the perimeter of the park is about one mile, so two loops is just about right for us and Jake in the mornings.
First time here. Picked this park because of location in town as we were here on business. About one third of park is workers or residents. Owner's home is in center with nice grassy areas and pavilion. Entrance road is hard surface with gravel sites. We came after a torrential rain storm. No problems for our motorhome. Friendly management, we will return. $20 rate drops to $15 for 2nd and 3rd nights.
