We spent two nights here during the Balloon Fiesta. Had to make reservations back in July. The RV park was packed with over fifty percent being seasonal and the rest being overnighters. The pull-through sites were large, gravel and mostly level. The electrical power and water pressure were good. Cable TV was out though. Roads were paved. Very nice pet area. My only gripe about The High Desert RV Park was the location. I-40 runs nearby and the road noise was noticeable, but the biggest problem for me was the airplanes. Right in the path of the airport in Albuquerque. It did seem to quit after midnight. Staff was friendly. If we go again to the Balloon Fiesta, would stay at the grounds were they launch the balloons. Not as nice, but don't have to deal with the traffic and airplanes.

We stayed here overnight. Staff was friendly and stayed late in order to check us in and escort us to the site. The road and sites are dirt and the site was not even close to being level. The pull-through site was narrow, awkward and shared with another fifth wheel. The electrical, sewer, water and cable was easily accessible. The campground is surrounded by I-10, I-8 and railroad tracks. Noise could be a problem for light sleepers. No landscape to mention. Wind was blowing and dust covered everything. Probably would not stay here again.
