Seriously the most fun we had ever had at a campground. We went on the Halloween weekend, and the kids had a blast trick-or-treating, looking at all the decorated sites, hiking and geocashing. We stayed in the Savannah campground and liked it very much. Quiet campground even with all the children here for the weekend. Need to drive between the two campgrounds, way too far to walk. Staff hosting the events were very friendly and helpful. My biggest issue was that the shower building was not heated. Very cold taking a shower at the end of October.

Great park with two different campgrounds in it. We chose Maple Grove Campground with no electrical hook-ups. This campground was well spaced out and tons of trees. The kids enjoyed biking around the trails and biking to the bathrooms. The "hidden" paths were their favorite. Used the beach and fishing pier. Too windy for catching fish, but still fun. Did the Hiking Club, geocaching in the park, and saw the albino deer. Very pet friendly. Camped with three other families, very quiet park. Would visit again.

It is a very nice, clean, and friendly park. The bathrooms and shower house are clean and new. There is a brand new playground that the kids could bike to. We attended the Fall Festival, and the kids had a good time with it. It is very close to town, interesting location and back story of the 1997 floods. We enjoyed the Hiking Club and geocaching in the park. The only issue was the location of our site that we picked, it was sugar beet harvest, and the trucks were jack breaking all night long 500 feet from our site. I would suggest picking a site in the middle or closer to the park office which is behind a dike and quieter. But it is a very nice campground.
