Beautiful little park!! A true gem by Lake Superior! Lots of people and lots of kids, kind of on the noisy side but everyone was having a great time. This was our 3rd park staying in Michigan and we think it was a nice stay and a fairly good location. Had it not been at Lake Superior though there wouldn't have been much reason to stay here. We would return, but would try to go when it isn't the height of tourism season.
We stayed here for 4 nights. We are new to camping and the owners were very helpful. It was a big plus the sites are pull thru and they are Huge. We did not feel crowded at all. The park is very clean and the owners do a good job at keeping up with all the people that come and go. We had a 50 amp water and electric site and even though we had neighbors, we felt like it was private. Very quiet place to stay and close to all the attractions that we wanted to see. We will recommend to others.
This was our first experience camping in our new RV. We had heard mixed reviews about this huge park so wasn't sure what to expect. If you like a lot of activity around you this would be the place to go. The view of the bridge was a plus. Since we are "country folk" we felt a little overwhelmed by the size of the park and the amount of very close campers to us. All in all it was a good stay.
