The park is clean and well maintained except for the roads. Of course, keep in mind that this place gets snow and that probably makes it difficult to keep roads smooth. Nice hiking trails with access from the park. Saw deer in the park in the evening. Tengointernet Wifi works on PC & Ipad not Iphone. Cable at site did not work had to string it from another site. It also had low signal issues during our stay. Camp personnel did work with us. They were very helpful. Park is close to gas stations, groceries, etc. It was quiet - could not hear road noise or trains. Would stay here again.
Large parking lot with some trees and spots of grass here and there. Not all sites are level. Lots of cracks in asphalt. Reno Sparks is about 10 miles away. Good for overnight only. Cabelas and Boomtown Casino are within walking distance. Trains run near park in canyon below. WiFi was non-existent. The parks that we have stayed at that use Matrix WiFi are getting ripped off. Signal is always very weak and knocks you off when you do get on. The positive is that you great views of the mountains and since the park was fairly empty it was quiet.
Level, back in sites. Gravel, no grass and no shade. No reservations: 1st come, 1st served. No WiFi or cable TV. But for $25 you can't have everything. However, if you are looking for a no frills, clean park this is a great spot. Spacious clean bathrooms and showers. Two blocks off of 395 so it is very quiet especially for sleeping. Five minute walk through fairgrounds and you are on main street. Not sure if people don't know about this park. There were only two others there and one pulled out late evening. We had park to ourselves. Starbucks is two blocks away. Would stay here again.
Clean, well maintained park, with level sites. There are a few sites that are double. The front of a rig is up against the back of another. I don't know how you would park. Good WiFi, limited cable TV channels. Good for families as the Quincy park is right outside the RV park. The City park includes pool, playground equipment and skate park. Quincy fairgrounds a couple blocks away. Would have to drive for shopping. Would stay here again.
Clean, nicely maintained park with level shady sites. Good Wi-Fi and cable. Easy access off I-5. Walgreen's within walking distance. Friendly, personable husband and wife run the park. They were helpful and accommodating when we had a tire issue with our RV. Saw a lot of kids so I'm assuming that it's family friendly. The pool was clean and busy. Laundry facilities were clean. Two separate walking areas for dogs. Would stay here again.
Large, clean, well maintained secure park. Level sites. Good for big rigs. Wi-Fi was spotty. You have to keep logging in constantly. Trains run at all hours of the day and night right behind the park. There is a bus stop right outside of park. The park is located in a semi-residential, industrial area. You have to drive everywhere. No shopping close by. There is cable TV but the channel selection is minimal and probably not ones that you watch at home. Fitness room is used, left over equipment. Would not stay here again because of location. Caters mostly to older retired people.
Clean, easy to drive in and set up. No obstacles such as buildings or trees. Super clean pool and spa, bathrooms, showers. Complimentary brewed to order coffee in lobby. Large area for dogs to run around in. Wish we could have stayed here longer. About a mile off from I-5 but couldn't hear traffic noise.
Gravel and asphalt everywhere. Hard to walk dogs in the heat. The large grassy area that was available was dead. Clean park. Friendly office staff. Couldn't find any other parks in Sacramento that looked clean or safe. This one fit the bill. All attractions must be driven to. Hookups are kind of weird. Hookups for next site over were on our site. Good cable TV has lots of channels.
Clean park. Quiet except for noise from I-5. Walking distance into town. Showers were a little dirty, looked like they had not been cleaned in a few days. This area of Oregon is warm in summer, a pool would be nice.
Positives: Clean, well maintained park. Clean laundry room. Walk to major department store. 2 pools. Close to walking areas(got info from maintenance man). About 5 miles from train into city. Negatives: Rude office staff - don't ask for suggestions or help about anything. Park located under airport flight path, trains and river boats run all night. Noisy all the time. Cable TV - garbage channels - no variety. I-5 gets jammed up with traffic in that area. This park is located right before you cross the bridge to Vancouver, WA.
Great location - ocean on one side, San Diego Bay on the other. Other than that it is the pits. The gates close at 9 PM you can't enter or exit until 8 AM. Packed in like sardines in a parking lot. There are probably two choice spots in the whole park. There was no room to park our truck. We were directed to a lot where we got a parking ticket. The second night we asked the park ranger where we could park. Even though there were empty spots, and three huge empty parking lots, he made us park about 2 miles away on a city street. We left a day early. There is also no dump station nor will they tell you where you can find one. I think that because of the great location they can provide horrible customer service and get away with it.
