I won't stay here again and here's why - The office was unoccupied and locked when we arrived at 2PM; but 2 site packages were available and we settled on one, filled out the registration form, wrote a check and deposited what was required in the provided envelope and put it in the slot in the door. Another coach arrived while we were finishing - he took the other site. - As I finished setting up, a woman came up demanding to know if we had a reservation - I told her my wife had left a message at 10:30 and someone called back an hour later and took information from my wife. This woman came close to accusing my wife and I of lying about calling to reserve a site. Even after showing her the cell phone dialed numbers and received numbers which she acknowledged as theirs. She said she didn't get a call and couldn't understand, etc. Her tone was very hostile and threatening. She said she would have to check further as they ALWAYS greeted their guests, and we were lucky she didn't need the site we selected for that night. It's 5 hours later, she hasn't returned or anything. I'm still upset - she was that bad. Get a confirmation number or something if you need to park here. Very Hostile environment, as far as I'm concerned.

We stayed here for 19 days in June/July for a total 39x.xx Restrooms are combos toilet/shower and cleaned daily. Hosts had an all you can eat fish fry on the 4th of July - guests brought a dish. Some one room cabins and also a larger building called a lodge. This is a quiet spot on the White River, a trout stream that also has a walleye population. River boats and motors for rent, guide service available - either spin cast or fly. Fishing equipped store - some apparel.

First off if you need cable, you must call the cable company. WiFi is a internet based pay for use. Paid 165 a week or 500 a month. Good for a base when in Atlanta, but campground offers little else. 24 hour security through the campground sites. Office closed on weekends, so it's an honor system - you pick your site based upon type of use - short or long term. The gravel sites are found on one long paved street with speed bumps. Combination of shade and open. Circle the street once before selecting your site as there are excellent, average, and poor sites.

Close quarters. Many long term coaches were present. Close to restaurants and service stations, but in a semi-rural area so not too noisy that sleep is disturbed. Decent overnight stopping point north of Nashville, TN.

Nice campground next to Interstate 57, exit 40 - but not noisy at all as it's above the level of the highway. Some long term coaches on site. Rural area, nearest store or service station is about 4 miles. Stopped two different times - no issues as it is a good overnight stop with limited recreation facilities

Rural area of a small town. An unattractive entrance - junk cars. Check out time is determined by arrival time as fee covers 24 hours. They give you a coupon good for one pound of brats at nearby butcher shop - take advantage as the meat is excellent. Has long term sites as well as a small store. Use as an overnight stopping place, not a long term destination type place. Has indoor swimming pool, though. Cash or checks - no credit cards.
